Is it me or has this song got a swinging jazzy kinda feel?? Obviously with a 60's influence. I could imagine Georgie Fame or even Michael Buble doing a cabaret loungy versions of this tune. The opening chords always reminds me of either a TV game show or TV comedy theme tune.
I was born in 1950 and was 14 years-old when The Beatles first hit America. It was a fantastic time period. I saw them live at Dodger Stadium in 1966 right after their album "Revolver" came out. Even with their tiny (by today's standards) Vox amps, they sounded great live above the thousands of screaming teenage girls.
@TheJorgeFilms because your mom was uptight about premarital sex and your dad was ob la di ob la da and couldn't read the signals like he can now, so, when martha...
@MetalDrummer776 Lol I was also born in 1995, 30th of November. And I'm so addicted to Beatles I can't get to sleep without listening minimum of 10 songs repeated twice.
@MetalDrummer776 because, had you been born in the 50's, you would have fallen in love with the Beatles AS THEY HAPPENED, and had a hell of a time getting a girl because - what guy can measure up to Paul McCartney? So, after having and losing a dozen girls, all Beatlemaniacs, you would have been depressed enough and discouraged enough by all the lies told to you in high school health class about the dangers of drugs, to end up trying them and blowing your mind and future right out the window.
The Beatles Classic 1964 sound George's 12 string Rickie. Paul's Killer Bass line and Vocal harmony. John's Magnificient Lead vocals and Passionate strumming guitar. Ringo's kickass groove and drum break. Plus those Great BEATLES Endings. OH YEA THANK YOU GEORGE MARTIN and Norman Smith for the superior production. They were so ahead of the herd it wasn't even fair. Cleveland Johnny
