  • So Epic, Dude how can I contact her? Do I have to come to India? or there are other alternatives. Dude, she must perform in USA. This is really inspirational, I have never heard anything like that, it some how resembles with the uragi (folk mongol)

  • @atheistbyfaith listen to her dad singing...it's his composition and he was a genius Indian singer who went so deep as to COMPLETELY REDEFINE what could be called music in a universal sense and almost invented new sounds in his vocal art...

You should listen to him. Name "Kumar Gandharva"

  • @shoonnya

i agree with you completely with you about her father but there is no denying his influence in her singing! may she live long and spread the art which her father made popular!

  • @atheistbyfaith this is not folk its classical indian. even to contemplate to learn indian classical is a big sorry huge step.

  • She is putting her heart in to her voice ,that is why her singing brings tears to my eyes.

Just by singing exactly technically correct raga, thala etc., can no make ayone a great singer.

  • she is amazing....... her gayaki gives the listner an tital effect kumarji..... who says kumarji is not there? he voice is still singing in her...............

  • kumar gandharva ki beti! kaun nahi kehta?

  • Lyrics / words - Kabeer (15th century)

Composition - Kumar Gandharva (Shivaputra Komakali)

    vocals - Kalaapini komakali (daughter)
