so you told, one of the reason that you do not take this vaccine is your child not going to childcare. But how about children outside? All kind of birthdays ? He is not just sit at home with you...
My daughter is 4-months old and vaccine free. I was going to vaccinate for this one, but when I read news that there have been outbreaks of whooping cough and it is was from vaccinated children, I decided not to- and besides the fact of the ingredients that are in it. I don't worry about Polio as the only way to get it is by oral, nasal and fecal matter.
Doctors are very pushy. My daughter hasnt gotten any so far. I'm horrified about a first shot that scedhuled in a week. They offer dtap with polio and hib all together. I think its too many at once.
I still plan and getting my child vacinated but not until he is at least a year old. Has anyone else had any problems with pushy doctors? I had my first doctor drop me saying it was unethical to not vacinate my child according to the schedule. It's very frustrating!
Thank u so much! Informative videos i just wish you would do it back to back, i have an 8 mo and have no clue about shots, my dr pushes me to get all of it done but im very concerned about the side effects. Could you do a recap video on least to most important vaccine a baby needs. I trust fellow mothers opinion than dr. They tend to push us to medicines, and im uncomfortable w/ it.thank u
I've decided to vaccinate the dtap according to the CDC schedule. Tetanus and diphtheria are not as common now, but the pertussis outbreaks concern me enough to assent to this one. My child will not be in daycare, but he will be around other children enough (church, other friend's children) that I want to have him protected.
My son had an adverse reaction to this vaccine at 4 months:( Something didn't feel right after that, despite what the doctor was telling me, and sent me to researching..my son has had no vaccines since. Such a healthy boy he is! Love your videos!
I agree with several people's comments I do feel it's the parents choice but also the reason cases are low is because these vaccines are administered.
While I agree it's up to the parent to decide these things, it doesn't really follow logic to say that you're not going to give a vaccine because the disease is rare in America. It's rare here because kids are vaccinated. It's prevalent overseas because kids aren't as frequently vaccinated. Go back to before these vaccines, and I bet those diseases were just as common in America as in other countries.
I love your channel!!! My wish for all mamas is that they realize that they can and should make these decisions (knowledgeably) for their children.Informed in control parents can really turn society around, in areas of health education and nutrition. Way to BE MamaNatural!!
So how many doses would the first child need before baby number two comes?

Oh for the love of god, just vaccinate your child! It's so much safer to do the tdap than not.

@youngliterati The EU vaccination schedule is very similar to America's.

@TheAppieShow I didn't assume traveling abroad meant exclusively EU nations.

@youngliterati True...sorry. I think very little when it comes to traveling outside the EU. : \
