i dont dis the 99 cent store anymore because its changed the last 10 years or so with name brand items as well as not so name brand, and they have added fresh fruit and vegetables in the last 5 years. the knock off brand just show you that they are almost eactly like the big name money brands just with different packaging and logo's but guess what, its the exactly the same stuff inside. lol there's nothing wrong with food from the 99 cent store. people feel more comfortable buying "brand name" food because the advertising is effective and makes the products more familiar and attractive. it's the same stuff, only cheaper. i went to the 99 cent store and bought some duncan hines cake mix, and my sister wouldn't eat the cupcakes i made just bc she knew where i bought it. it's ridiculous. it was a smaller package than they have at the regular grocery store, but it's perfectly fine.

Why do people act like it is a sin to by stuff or food at the 99 Cents store. There's one of those 99 Cents Only stores by my house and I have bought many of the canned and refrigerated food and it taste just like if you bought at a grocery store. The only reason this guy threw up was because he ate too much food, of course if you eat like crazy then you're going to throw up! I mean I only by snacks there but not a whole cart of groceries, I'd rather prefer Wal-Mart for that.
