  • first of all id like to hight light this video as incorrect..simply because the blessed virgin was created specifically to become the vessal that would carry God incarnate,...in which case then to do so..the vassal in its self would have to be perfect,..without blemish within flesh and spirit....mary was the ''immaculate conception'' .so being this would then explain why the virgin alone was selected by the most high, she was in no need of saving from original sin,..because she was born without

  • Jesus' ascension is a fact, Bible proven. Mary's Assumption is a dogma.

Jesus' ascencion determines He is the ONLY one who died and rose again. Mary did not rose again. Mary, according to the Bible, is still in the ground, like others who served the Lord but are now dead. They are still waiting for the Trumpet to be sounded.

  • @milkwayusa DO YOU KNOW THAT THE BIBLE CAME FROM THE CATHOLIC CHURCH?

READ BIBLE HISTORY….WHO COMPILED THESE SCROLLS AND PUT THEM IN ONE BOOK (BIBLIA)

Who selected & put the 27 Books in the New Testament together for the New Testament and added the Chapters & Verses? And canonized the Bible and called them inspired words of God.

THE CHURCH CAME FIRST (Matt. 16:18) The Bible came out of the Catholic Church

ONLY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH CAN INTERPRET THE BIBLE CORRECTLY 100% read the Catechism

  • @milkwayusa We are even found to be misrepresenting God, that he raised Christ whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised.1 Corinthians 15 to 29

16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised. 17 If Christ has not been raised your faith is futile and you are still in your sins

18 Then those also who have died in Christ have perished. 19 If for this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all people most to be petied.

  • 20 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead the first fruits of those who have died.

21 For since death came through a human being , the resurrection of the dead has also come through a human being; 22 for as all die in Adam, so all will be made alive in Christ.

29 "... If the dead are not raised at all, why are people baptized on their behalf?

Revelation 5:8 “..., each holding a harp and a golden bowls full of incense which are the prayers of the saints.”

  • I'm A Catholic Christian, I was save through baptism and gave my life to God when I was fourteen. I go to an Evangelical school and it's pretty tough people mock Catholics! I just Pray for them. They think we worship Mary, were only suppose to honor her!! Jesus is the one we worship!!

Protestants and Catholics are equal!! Same God, Similar Bible! Neither Church is better

  • @iBoyOfSteel what we have to look is it's authenticity, where did the teaching came from for sure if you are Catholic your doctrine came from the apostles, we should also know the history that the Catholic Church is the original church that Jesus founded (not over 33,000 conflicting denominations) and that the Bible came from the RCC therefore it's the only church that can translate the bible correctly.

  • I am not trying to stir up disagreements but protestants most of them are real hypocrites!!!And most Catholics are not. They say it how it is. I think about changeing back to Catholic. Now I know the truth about the reality. Most protestants are about the money and lies!!!The Catholic Church the original church of Jesus Christ!

  • Protestants don't hate Mary. She is not the mother of God though, of corse we believe mary is in heaven she was a sinner saved by grace like every other person in heaven...... it was her yes that allowed Jesus to be born? Oh thats just a slap in Gods face, seriously..... Then the punch line at the end..... lets all recite a chant *AHEM* I mean a prayer..... what did Jesus say about that kinda thing...... crazy, really, how a catholic can read a bible and remain catholic is beyond me......

  • @Pandalady366 Isn't Jesus God who is his mother? Mary therefore she is the mother of Jesus who is God, still Protesters don't understand the logic here.

When Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth what did she say about Mary? who is Mary? The Mother of Our Lord (Lord means God) Luke 1:43

Mary’s womb is God’s TABERNACLE MADE IMMACULATE & SINLESS

God who is sinless will not put his only son to a womb of a sinful woman.. period

HAIL MARY PRAYER is Biblical - what do we ask Mary to do for us?

  • @junmeskie You might think logic points to this dotrine, but its not in the bible. And when human logic controdicts the bible, like when the bible says that Jesus is the only mediator between man and God and that all men have sinned, the human logic is wrong. Also, the "sin nature " is passed on from the father-Jesus's father was God. Was Marys mother and father sinless too? Of corse not, mary had sin nature like every other human being but Jesus. Mary was a vessle, nothing more nothing less.

  • @Pandalady366 First you have to know history to understand that the Catholic Church is the only sole interpreter of the Bible correctly since it comes from her. The church came first and the bible came out of the church.

In verses 1-7, St. Paul asks Christians to participate in Christ's unique mediation. by offering prayers and intercessions for all men: "this is good and pleasing to God."

by offering prayers and intercessions for all men: "this is good and pleasing to God."

  • We are called to unite ourselves to the one mediator Christ, "who gave himself as a ransom for all," by praying for all men, through Christ.

Because Christians share in the priesthood of Christ, we share in a lesser and dependent way in His unique mediation, interceding for all men.

Fellow Christians on earth intercede for each other in prayer without contradicting the unique mediation of Jesus Christ.

  • Likewise, there is no contradiction of 1Tim 2:5 if the saints in heaven intercede for us with their prayers.

All prayer, whether in heaven or on earth, is in Christ and through Christ, our one mediator and high priest.

CHRISTIANITY IS FAMILY OF GOD ...not me and Jesus alone

Jesus shares many of His unique roles with Christians in lesser ways. Jesus is the Creator of all things (Jn 1:3; Col 1:16-17), and yet He shares this role with men and women in procreation.

  • Jesus is the eternal High Priest, mediating His once-for-all sacrifice for our redemption (Heb 3:1, 7:24, 9:12, 10:12),

and yet Christians are also called to join in Christ's priesthood, as we have seen (1 Pet 2:5; Rev 1:6, 5:10).

Obviously, Christ is the unique and primary Creator, Shepherd, and Priest, but each Christian participates in these roles in subordinate ways.

By sharing Christ's divine life, Christians also share in Christ's role as the only mediator.

  • @junmeskie Paul asking people to pray for other people is totally different and surely you must know this? You can physically come to me for example and ask me to pray for you. But when I'm dead you can't, paul said nothing of the nature of "praying to the dead". Thats totally different and out of context.

What version of history do you refair to, actual history (the first pope was 300 years after Jesus and the first biblical head of the church was James) or the catholic one?

    Google: Praying to the dead

  • I find the info below this vid to be highly presumptuous. I'm a Protestant and I have never hated Mary. I guess Catholics would tell me that I don't give her enough respect. I don't call her "Queen of Heaven" or "Co-Redemptrix" because those titles are going WAY beyond the role she played as a humble woman who saw Jesus as her savior just as much as any other Christian would. I have heard that Catholics also believe that Mary was without sin. The "Immaculate Conception". Is this true?

  • @whiteclaudia9 The Holy mother Mary is without sin, check the actual Biblical texts and even your libraries of botched VERSIONs of bibles, it says the same. You will pay for your ignorance.

  • protestants do believe Mary is in heaven....we feel she was blessed by God for choosing her, just in the same way the apostels were chosen and anyone else God chose to do his work...she is blessed among women not above them...big difference. you won't find anyone in the bible treating mary like catholics do...and the word hail, is a salutaion...like hello...the angel din't bow to her, he simply said hello.

  • Marian worship is idolatry pure and simple. NOWHERE in ANY of the Gospels does it say to worship her. There is only ONE saviour. Jesus Christ. Saying otherwise is blasphemy.

  • "Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you, blessed are you among women and Blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary Mother of God, Pray for us" sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen

WHAT DO WE ASK MARY TO DO FOR US?

  • I was moved to cringe at every painful blow inflicted on Christ. I could feel the emotional torment that Mary endured as she watched her son tortured.a person who saw the movie The Passion of the Christ

Marys prayers are especially effective on our behalf because of her relationship with her Son (John 2:111).

JESUS CANNOT DENY THE INTERCESSION OF MARY TO US ALL!

All miracles via Mary came from her son Jesus. MARY HAS NO SUPERNATURAL POWER

  • How can Mary hear your request if she isn't God? Only God is omnipresent....Mary is like us, just a human...Jesus was bot human and God.

  • No where in the Bible do you find anyone praying to someone that has gone to heaven! nowhere! Only God can hear and answer prayers..you can take a few scriptures and try to twist them all day long...that doesn't make it the truth...let the Bible's word be true to there correct meanings.

  • First of all you have to know the ORIGIN OF THE BIBLE that it came from the Catholic Church

If you AGREE that the BIBLE CAME FROM THE CATHOLIC CHURCH then it is the only church that can INTERPRET THE BIBLE 100% CORRECTLY

THE CHURCH CAME FIRST (Matt. 16:18)The Bible came out of the Catholic Church

Then, after mention of loyal services rendered by him to the imprisoned Apostle at Rome, comes the prayer for Onesiphorus himself,

  • ‘The Lord grant unto him to find mercy of the Lord in that day’ (the day of judgment); finally, in the salutation, ‘the household of Onesiphorus’ is mentioned once more, without mention of the man himself.

  • The scriptures you gave me had nothing to do with us praying to people in heaven. And your comment of God making mary immaculate isn't in the bible..it's a man made idea..God is the father of Jesus...so he has his father's blood...not Mary's...a baby gets it's blood from the father not the mother...learn some biology.Mary was of the seed of Adam, making her a sinner...Jesus was born of God, making him sinless..and Jesus lived in a sinful world.

  • we ask mary to do nothing for us, because no one else in the Bible ever did. But they sure asked Jesus!

  • We began to see that as non-Catholics, in good faith we had submitted our lives to Jesus Christ on our terms, not his. We had no other terms.

Our Christian lives had been based on our interpretation of Scriptures or that of other persons whom we had chosen to follow. ~ Fr. Ray Ryland Former Episcopalian Priest now Catholic.

And who can forget the words of St. John Newman, a convert to the Catholic Church, who said: "He who steeps himself in history, ceases to be a Protestant."

  • i think the reason why protestants think we think of mary as equal to Jesus is because the picture of The Sacred and immaculate heart are side to side and the same size. You cant really tell thats Jesus' heart is more significant although mary's is still significant. and when we have posters or statues of mary, they're usually larger and more noticable than the Cruxifix. and most the songs we have memorized are about Mary instead of Jesus. but thats only if you're misguided.

  • The truth in the difference between the ascension of Jesus and the assumption of Mary is simple. The ascension of Jesus really happened.

  • Mary is not God. The Catholic Church has never said that she is God. She me one document, one council, or one infalible statement that said that she is God from the Catholic Church. You won't any because it doesn't exist.

Mary is able to do the things that she does because God wills it.

Also the fact that Jesus calls Mary woman is because she is without sin. Look in Genesis, Before the fall Adam called his wife woman. It wasn't until after the fall that Woman got a name eve.

  • Mary is your god...because if you truly loved the one true God you wouldn't make his earthly mother some kind of omnipresent deity. She was called "woman" by Jesus...He didn't even call her "mother" get on the narrow path and get off the wide path the leads to distruction!

  • I think there were times that Jesus called mary his mother, but he indeed did call her "woman"...which wasn't out of disrespect at all, quite the opposite. And i also believe that it was done because he knew that there would be those who gives her much praise. God is a jealous God. Why did Mary think the she would be called blessed? I'm sure because God used her in the way that he did.

  • shanana000

Catholics and even Muslims imitate Jesus in honoring Mary as our loving mother (it is in the 10th Commandment "To honor your mother & father"))

Worship and Adoration is exclusive to God alone

Veneration, honor and respect we give to Mary and the Saints in heaven for they live a holy life like Mother Teresa when we look at the statue of the saints or Mother Teresa it remind us of their good works here on earth we too can follow their life in any way that is pleasing to God.

  • what muslims or catholics do aren't biblical...and using the commandments out of context doesn't pursuad me...cause Mary isn't my mother, nor is she my heavenly mother...she was Jesus's earthly mother. And I don't bow to statues of George Washington or Mary nor do i pray to them...they were humans that did good things...but to God be all the glory...just like they both advise us to do. I remember them, you catholics go beyond that and Worship Mary..u might call it veneration, but its not.

  • Show me the scripture that everything must be in the Bible to be believe? John 21:25

I'm not here to persuade you or anyone who are ignorant, it is your duty to search the TRUTH

I am sure this is new to you the Bible came from the Catholic Church responsible in selecting 27 of over 300 scrolls to be added in the book section of the NT since the OT is done.

At the foot of the cross Jesus gave Mary his mother to us through John.

    READ: Acts 2:42, 2 Timothy 2:2, 2 Thess. 2:15

  • STATUES & PICTURES OF THE SAINTS ARE NOT IDOLS

Pictures are photos to remind us of our love one & Statues are like monument of heroes and role models.

God commands images made. Exodus 25:18-22, Ex 26:1,31, Numbers 21:8-9,

    Solomon's temple: statues and images. 1 Kings 6:23-29, 35, 7:29

    TYPES OF RESPECT:

    1) PEASANT GENUFLECT or KNEEL FRONT OF THE KINGS & QUEENS 2) JAPANESE BOW TO OTHER PEOPLE 3) FILIPINOS KISS THE HANDS OF THEIR ELDERS

CATHOLICS IMITATE JESUS IN HONORING HIS MOTHER MARY

  • We do not worship George Washington monument in Washington DC

Mother & Son works together for our salvation The reason Jesus called his mother "woman" referring to Gen. 3:15 and Rev. 12

In order to understand the meaning of "co-mediatrix" or "co-redemptrix", you MUST understand the meaning of the prefix "co".

It does NOT mean equal. It simply means "part- of". When Protestants complain about these terms, they generally mistakenly assume that they mean "equal to". This is simply not the case.

  • never said you worship GW..but you do Mary...RC's pray to here and give her status that only belongs to God...go and read the 1rst Commandment...No where in the Bible do you find anyone going to Mary like RC's do...matter of fact, you won't find that until 3 centuries later, and that's only because of false gospels teachings of the Gnostics..do your homework. and stop being blind.

  • Your mind is very limited in understanding about

RESPECT - HONOR - being GRATEFUL & THANKFUL

To a mother who give birth to your savior

Catholics are very thankful & grateful to Mary for accepting Jesus n her womb (Tabernacle made sinless and pure)

I cannot stress this enough CATHOLICs DO NOT WORSHIP MARY she s not God

Her role as a mother is to lead us to her son

Jesus has the flesh & blood of Mother Mary

WHEN YOU REJECT MARY I AM SURE HER SON JESUS IS SAD WITH YOUR INGRATITUDE try love
