I'm going to put it out there !!! This is the greatest song ever ! It's perfect from start to finish. A MASTERPIECE !! I have the original LP with the naked chick on the cover surrounded by robot figures. I have it hung on my office wall ! brings back memories every time I see it. If you buy the single of this song on cd it includes this instrumental.
MUCHAS GRACIAS.
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR ITS WORTH IT YOU BY A PIZZA FOR 12 DOLLARS WHY CAUSE YOU LIKE IT. THAT PIZZA MAY NOT TASTE SO HOT BUT THE THIS IS GOOD MUSIC EVERY TIME YOU TAKE A BITE OUT THIS PIE.
This is DEEPER than the much more popular "Planet Rock" by Afrika Bammbaataa! This is the BEST early Eighties Electro track, in my opinion. Followed by Kid Frost-Terminator (Instrumental).
Oh man. Germany 83-85! Dancing in the clubs, germans and american girls all over the place, booze flowing and awesome music like this! The memories! Crap today is just plain crap. Take and learn something from this, our NEW generation.
@eddiemc47 I don't think so. Every artist have the right to earn money for his work! Or are you're working for nothing? And if you an artist, you calculate with it. Imagine, you're working weeks for one song, and at the end one half buy it and the other share it! You're frustaded. Every song that you want to have, is it worth to buy it. ;)
@miller4th502nd but you also have to consider that the single for this is about 30 40 dollars, not vinyl, but regular audio CD. I like this song as much as the next person, but I will just enjoy the song on youtube if it has to be the case
this is so hot that begining is off the chain, all the way new york and detroit!!!! back in tha da they played this in detroit even to this day i just heard it on 107.5 they were playing old skool, i cant get this in dallas, tx think god i can back to the d!!! im a old skool head oak park high class of 89!!!

If you plan on buying "Looking For The Perfect Beat" you need an ass whoopin. Limewire has it for free. These type of songs are so popular and widespread thatyou can't miss it.
@afrosensuous No No No .. buy it! These artists have the right to earn money with their awesome productions. Buy it at Itunes or Amazon, and you have a real good quality. ;)
@miller4th502nd....I feel ya. I still have the original 12" single. IMO, to but this is like buying "Brick House" by the Commodores. I mean, it's not like it's out of print or anything. It's still popular and if I can't see myself paying 12.99 and up for this.
@afrosensuous Okay okay .. some tracks are out, but many many titles are still to buy. Amazon offer also single tracks from compilation sets. So you don't must buy an entire set if you only wanna have one or two tracks of it. And hey .. 87 or 97 cents for one track like PlanetPatrol-PlayAtYourOwnRisk is nothing. ;)
I agree many tracks are not longer available on the legal way, very sadly, but remember, download via a sharingservice can cause you a lot of trouble. ..
@afrosensuous its people like you who need an ass whoopin. youre ruining the music industry by downloading everything. quit being such a cheap ass loser and spend the 10 bucks to buy a CD
@DJAPK...no need to get pissed at me. I'm a BMI member, so I can legally and rightfully say that. But no one in their right mind is gonna pay $10 for a SINGLE!!! I see you don't have a problem with the person that uploaded this to youtube, which can legally be converted for personal use. But if YOU are gonna pay $10 for it, be my guest, keep your madness to yourself and be the one idiot that pays for shit that ain't worth $10. Take that emotional shit to Oprah.

UK RELEVANT INFO.
No offence, but ONLY heavy-duty clubbers were aware of this music in the early 80s - it just wasn't played on mainstream radio and or TV.
Obviously, your parents were amongst the cool elite that didn't follow the sheep (re Radio 1) but followed the best tunes in the best clubs.
