I love the original technical display of the hyung. I have watched several of your hyung demonstrations, and am elated each and every time to see old Taekwondo being preformed as originally designed!
Great pattern and performed well. Great to see the power coming from the hips and shoulders and not from that God awful sign wave crap which by the way l don't think does Jack shit!!!! I'm sure General Choi added it so he could have a laugh at all the Clowns bobbing around everywhere.
General Choi Hong Hi later changed this beautiful SHOTOKAN LIKE KATA performance to the SINE WAVE. This was original CHOI HONG HI style of Hyung / Tul performance, I have seen the sine wave performances, it looks 'unscientific' in my opinion. SHOTOKAN Karate-do has a LOT of INFLUENCE of Tae Kwon Do and the Korean Masters copied it = the BASIC MOVEMENTS of the KARATE KATAS.
ok, hes very good in my opinion, the poomsa that he is doing is done alot like the way my dojang does it. we do not use sine wave in our tuls. do you have a video of old style juche?
Its good to finally see a higher dan pattern performed with power, good technique and no ridiculous looking sine wave.

Strong technique. Reminds me of Kwon Jae Hwa style.

I like your style mman. Best pattern example I have seen on here. You started by getting the moves correct. Which is a step up from most :) Thanks

THIS IS WHAT GENERAL CHOI WAS TEACHING!!!! Not the crap that the new ITF does... it looks more like hip-hop dancing than martial arts...

I do believe general choi changed his mind later on and came up with the stupid sine wave.

@Leml0818 u mean he USE to teach. In 1979 the Gen made that shitty signwave crap.
