They sometimes have lyrics from various grim writings just because of their general badassery and they often sing in first person about butchering people but I doubt they hold that general attitude. So it's not the band condemning Islam, the song is telling the story of islamization of Egypt from the point of view of ancient Egyptians.

They sometimes have lyrics from various grim writings just because of their general badassery and they often sing in first person about butchering people but I doubt they hold that general attitude. So it's not the band condemning Islam, the song is telling the story of islamization of Egypt from the point of view of ancient Egyptians.
