Check out Viet Cong Game... That is how games should be done... When you hit the Aim key it brings your aim up no matter what you are hiding behind - its intelligent - It's a shame all the big titles these days are just XBOX shooters with no brains behind them..Damn...
I loved that game from the very first moment just because of its theme. The original is just a 4-Channel Amiga Mod - brilliant to write a piece like that on that limited circumstances.
Good remix by the way guys. The Drumkit could better and sound quality could be better
Realy nice, doesnt make me chill like the original. The orignal has a little more that "we move and move and move until exhaustion" feeling. Your version has a grain more action and as result isnt that hypnotic..but like it too. Feels like a soundtrack of an old vietnam b-movy lol..
Thanks:) We're now considering doing just that. I'm intrigued though, with the advancements in computer games nowadays, what would expect the new LP to be like? How do you see it?
how i would like to see LP2 would be a roleplaying game and with much intriques within the group for surviving, isometric from above view i think will be best, but i shall think little more about it and come back for suggestions :)regards/Tomas
I have to second this, I think it'd be awesome if you got to stat/skill the soldiers even a little bit, and if there was some kind of dialogues/interactions/personality conflicts between them. The core traveling game should be more or less the same but more "story" via stats and interactions. That'd rule.
@ShadowDevelopment I'd love to see Lost Patrol 2 allow you to pick the stats for your squad. Create each team member from scratch, select which ones are tough, which are good shooters, which ones can disarm traps and so on, and of course name them, pick portraits from a selection and maybe even pick a voiceset for each. Also it'd be cool if you could have female team members (a nurse who was on the chopper when it crashed?) who could treat injuries.
Not bad at all!

This is a great remix of a great theme song. The game was excellent but pretty hard. Good job man!

"we move and move and move until exhaustion"
Yeah, nice observation, that description captures the emotional essence of the track very well.
