I think it's just that Mandy doesn't really hav that strng of a voice for Audrey. She's always had much more of a pop-princess type voice than a theater one. That's no to say that she isn't talented, because she is. It's just that she' not exactly the right type of voice for this role.

Then again, Adam isn't exactly a Seymour-sounding type of guy, but he's had theater experience.

I guess it's all a matter of opinion, an everyone has a right to their own.

what is everyone hating on Mandy?? I've seen "Little Shop of Horrors" (movie and broadway) and IMHO she did better than any of the other girls who sang that part.

I really, REALLY don't understand why she is ever allowed to sing in public. Ever. They're not even on the same page. He's on a whole different talent level than her. You know, the level where people can actually sing. Adam is awesome, as always!

Wow! Adam was awesome. Mandy, however, just sucked the life out of the song. I like her as much as anyone... but steer that girl away from musical theatre. PLEASE!

I wish Mandy didn't use her falsetto... I guess when she was younger it was much better but as she got older her lower register seems to have become stronger.
