It's true. I never feed outside the habitat and I've NEVER had problems with aggression. I'm in the cage without food more often than with, so that may be something.
There are very few vets that specialize in reptiles....more costly too. Anyhow, it's great that it's worked out for you. Didn't intend to offend you. Sorry. Cool vid!
Ive been working with reptiles for a long time, I rest assure I know what I am doing. ALOT of people, breeders included feed in enclosure without problems. Never have I had a snake get aggressive in the enclosure. Just an FYI, not alot of vets know about reptiles despite what they say. Ive seen a few "expert vets" try to unlodge a compacted snake and paralyze them... as for pets stores..they ESPECIALLY dont know crap
Wow! I thought the snake was on the lizard's left side! Awesome! I would recommend a seperate feeding tank though. Otherwise they become accustomed to defending their area, which causes them to act "gangsta."
i was looking at the lizard and thinking, "what is it going to eat" and then it moved and the vine moved too . . . . then the vine ate the lizard . . . . . then i was like " . . .. oh . . . ."

It's not myth. You can find that in various care manuals. Any pet store csr or vet will tell you the same. It's just a suggestion though.

just curious....but don't you feed snakes in a seperate containment vessel? then after the snake is done feeding you put him back in his habitat.

reinstadler1 1 year ago
You can try feeding them little goldfish or minnows in a small bowl of water
lancewrest07 1 year ago
@lancewrest07 But goldfish and mino's dont offer much nutrients. They are a good snack but not as a staole food source

sadly, not really. Maybe CBB babies, but the chances are slim
greendayfreako 2 years ago
oh.. where do you get the lizrds to feed them?
JJCR0123 2 years ago
some petstores carry them, but you usually have to ask them to order feeder lizards first.
greendayfreako 2 years ago

I always thought those things were venomous.
patlap1990 2 years ago
ya they are venomous, but not enough to harm a human. Just is VERY irritating and give a small rash if its a good bite
