ya i dont think it was supposed to be hill 400 i think it was just a radar station or something because on Dec 7th 1944 army rangers attacked and took hill 400 and the movie takes place in June during the Normady invasion but for all i know they could have put it in the movie for dramatic effect

I always kind of laugh at Jackson (the sniper) have you noticed how he works the bolt on his rifle? I have that same type of gun (no scope) and have tried it. NO WAY is any sniper going to reload like that, its akward and inefficient.

Later at 51 or 52 secs into it he holds the rifle by his finger tips! no way is he going to be acurate.
