hmm komisch, ich hatte heute auf der autobahn ne smart vor mir, der ging zwar ganz schön ab aber es kamen durchgehend riesige schwarze wolken aus seinem auspuff :D:D:D:D

will mir auch jetzt einen smart fortwo zulegen auch 2008 baujahr und ich kann mir irgendwie es nicht vorstellen dass das kleine teil auf 150 km/h oder so standhält nicht das es bei starkem wind oder so ausbricht xD

@Iharu92 Bin letztes Wochenende von München nach Frankfurt und zurück gefahren... Macht halt wenig Spaß aber fährt sich besser als erwartet auf der Autobahn.

Remarkable how the gear ratios are on that ride. The engine sounded like it was at half it's total speed at top gear.

@divisioneight You are right! In top gear the engine is turning at approx. 50% of the RPMs it can handle. The Smart is speed limited... :)

hey ich fahre auch einen Smart Fortwo Turbo normalerweise sind die doch bei 145 km/h abgeregelt wie kannst du dann knapp 160 km/h fahren?

For those in the US, thats about 93 MPH. Dont get caught driving your smart that fast in the US... might get you a nasty ticket. Wonder how fast your smart can really go... it can do about 84 in 4th, so it still has most of 5th to go, but the car is governed to not go much above about 91 here. Great Vid.

There's not much left when it hits the governor. I'd say it would probably inch towards 160kph, maaaaybe 170kph with tailwinds haha.

Just got home a while ago, was working late. Had a chance on the turnpike to push the smart hard. handles so well, Much better than most would ever think for an 1800 pound car.

BIG BIG upgrade from the pre 2007's. The traction control is also incredibly good in snow, etc.
