But as far as goth goes then yes it can be put in with goth music, listen to the lyrics and stop being so afraid. @ImagineRevolution64 The early stuff is pretty goth, especially lyrically, very very dark, black parade musically strips some of that hard driving goth rock, but lyrically still has those dark goth elements. With the new one they move more into and explorative punk stage. But looking at the band as a whole you're right, you really can only throw them under the punk/alternative category. Either way, love the band, first band on my very first ipod back when black parade came out.
