Racism shouldn't play a part in this at all! Of course people of different races have different genes! People with blue eyes have different genes than people with brown eyes.

It's just genes. Everyone has different genes. So it really doesn't matter if some people have a different set of genes than others. I hate how people suddenly assume it's racist to think this strain of cancer might be more common with black women. No one would make this much of a fuss if it was revealed that brown haired people are more likely to get diabetes or AIDs.
