  • @makeupGeekTV Mam I like yr idea...but where i live avacado is hard to get...so is there any alternative which I can use???

  • would you recommend this for sensitive skin?

  • I'm going to try this! Thank you!

  • I agree with @ColormeCaitlan !! I just came across her and I love how she isn't fake and hyper like most gurus!! Lol

  • I think you're going to be my new favorite beauty guru. You're so genuine compared to the majority of the popular beauty gurus on youtube. Kudos to you for remaining humble and down to earth! Oh and I will definitely try this out some time!

  • youre so gorgeous oh my gosh!

  • you can even eat that mask!!! :D hahaha amazing video as always!

  • okkkkkkkkkkkk i will try this!!!!! :)

  • What do u use to clease your face?

  • LMAOOO 3:05

  • oh man, i dont think i could do this. i love avacado tooooooooooo much, it's my favorite food, i'd probably eat it before i got the chance to make a mask of it! hahah

  • little tip. when u put the milk in microwave it for a min or so. the heat will help the other oils and other fats to penetrate into the dermis.

  • You're woo freaqkingq pretty without makeup! !!!!

And avocado.is amazing for hair too!!!!!!!!

  • CAN YOU PLEASE START DOING COOKING VIDEOS!!!!!!!!(P.S.:I'M WRITING IN CAPITALS SO YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THIS COMMENT):)

  • You are seriously soooo pretty even without makeup! (:

  • nice , and do you know you can put that on your hair too , its good for your hair

  • I have not watched your videos lately, cause I didnt have internet, so Im kind of behind :) lol.... I love how your hair is looking, what do you call the look you have?? the strands that are light colored??? Btw.... I love to eat avocado... so I will surely try this mask. :) I hope you have a good new year!! May God bless you!!!!

  • I wish I could do this mask but if I cut an avocado up, I will only eat it cause I'm addicted to guacamole!

  • Avocado is amazing for hair too.

  • Can you put this in your hair?

  • I tried this two days ago - I wish you would put the directions/description in words because I had to play the video in the grocery store on my phone to make sure I didn't miss any ingredients! haha but this mask was so effective! My skin has been dry all winter and I wasn't able to get rid of it until now!

  • @lisss0513 It's only 3 ingredients and all you do is mix them all together, does it really need to typed out? Just saying, anyone should be able to remember this simple mask.

  • @xxviciousbeautyxx actually I was in the grocery store and saw avacado on sale and remembered watching this video so I decided to do it. I didn't plan on trying this mask so I didn't know the ingredients off the top of my head.

  • You're the best. I love all of your videos!!!

  • Ewww , baby barf on your face & on the "like" bar .

  • As always, a great video :0) I will definitely try this - glad I can save 1/2 the avocado to make guacamole with.

  • Love Love Love you Marlena!

  • You are the so darn adorable

  • Its not even snowing in pennsylvania :/

  • i really like how you actually put the mask on your face! ive seen so many people just make the mask and then be like okay guys byee! but i think its helpful to know how much to put on:)

  • I would totally end up eating the avocado before i can even mix the ingredients together, I loooooooove avocado! XD

  • If anyone can answer this, do you do this before or after washing your face?

  • Niiiiice :)

  • You look awesome without makeup by the way wow :)

  • sour cream or a fatty yogurt would be great for dry skin AND hair :)

  • I actually disagree with the weight comment . I watched your videos a long time ago and I just recently started and it looks like you have lost weight and you look good even with the face mask! I wish my skin looked flawless like yours :)

  • you look amazing! :)

  • you have gained weight

  • @sowhatu3114 that's rude. She didn't gain weight, she's loosing weight.

  • @sowhatu3114 do you have any idea how hard she has worked to live a more healthy life style? she has come such a long way, and she looks amazing!

  • @sowhatu3114 and why would you care?

  • Whosever saying the avocado isn't coming out that easy you are clearly not using ripe one smh

  • im allergic to avacado & milk...awkward

  • You're such a pretty girl, even without makeup and esp. with guacamole on your face! :P

  • I don't want to sound rude or creepy, but you have beautiful breasts, I wish mine were like yours :)

  • I've got the same spice rack! :)

  • isnt the honey bad for your skin because of the sugar? i can imagine it giving me more pimples!

  • @Georgia3478 no because it is a natural sugar. Very good for your skin. Just remember to wash your skin off well so that nothing stays on the skin and clogs your pores :) eating sugars is what helps give you acne along with not drinking enough water, not washing your face daily, touching your face with dirty hands, dirty pillow case...the list goes on.

  • @Georgia3478 honey is AMAZING for you skin! and definitely does not give you pimples, heck it helps them heal! when i get a blemish i just dab a bit of honey on. its natural and effective! and very gentle :) x

  • Your house looks amazing!

  • ur so pretty .... will try this moisturizing face mask

  • Marlena, you're such a beauty. I'm not just saying that. I'm jealous. Smashed food on your face can't even hide your obvious sexiness. You're beautiful.

  • If I dont eat that, maybe it will work!

  • honey is also amazing for clearing acne and its a natural antibacterial!

  • Pls do cooking videos...this video was so soothing to watch...love the lighting

  • You look so beautiful without makeup

  • this does not work! the avacado does not come out that easily!

  • @laurencamillemusic you're right, she must have used some camera magic or something for that avocado...it's all lies.

  • @laurencamillemusic ......it does if its ripe.

  • yummy I love avocados, I really don't think that I can pull the mask'thing without eating the whole avocado. :(

  • You had acne problems before, and now you can moisturize your skin without causing to break out, how did you do that? I couldn't use any of this just because my skin has always been oily.

  • I think I prefer to eat the avocado I just love avocados

  • I will try it!!

and... maybe I can eat the remaining mask while I'll let it for 30' ???

  • cool tutorial! I will try this!

  • you have an incredible smile Marlena

  • Hehe you're funny :) Im suck at measuring things too! High five x

  • i wanted to know, she u lost soemw eigh witht he mexican salad, becuz i dont c a big difference. love your makeup tutorials

  • omg....your freaking gorgeous. i think you look even better without makeup 0.o

  • I love DIY at home beauty videos. I do not have dry skin, ever. I do however know women with dry skin. Still love this video, and others like it. Thanks!

  • Great video! :::: Check out our channel for beauty/hair tips, products and advice!!!

  • honey doesn't make your face paler ?

  • What would you recommend for oily skin?

  • @nesser3392 For oily skin: APPLE MASK. Grate a tiny apple, u don't need much. Drizzle 2 tablespoons over it. Mix it lightly and rub it in your skin, you will have a juice consistency, and you'll repeat it coz you will have juice left, maybe keep the rest for the next morning? Once you are tired of massaging your face with the juice, let it dry and sit on your face for 15-20 minutes. This apple mask must be taken over the jawline. Enjoy a luscious skin!

  • @helen2U Thank you!! I will try this :D I hope it works

  • @nesser3392 of course it the freakin' works! It fades your acne, and if u do it every day it will take care of your pimples quick!

  • @helen2U Frickin awesome! Thanx!

  • @helen2U Wait! What do you drizzle over the apples?

  • @nesser3392 when you were reading my recipe, why didn't you write it down? You drizzle Honey. or two tablespoons of it.

  • Good idea! I'm going to try this. I too have dry skin and with winter time here it's even worse. Thanks for sharing:)

  • for a second i thought i was watching food network.

  • Wonderful Thx :>)

  • i cant believe how beautiful you are

  • Great tip! I like it very much.

  • LOVE your sweater!!!! And I didn't even notice your nose booboo until you said something lol :) I'm definitely trying this face mask! Thanks, Marlena!!

  • That is a really great recipe. It should also work equally as well as a moisturizing mask/conditioner for those with dry hair. Honey acts a a natural humectant which means it attracts and retains moisture while avocado is wonderful to moisturize and strenghten hair.

  • @bernnadettek but isn't it difficult to wash the avocado out of the hair? and I think this is maybe nothing for those with very fine hair like me :( but I will try it on my skin.

  • Milk & honey! Like a true Klepoatra!

  • u are so beautiful! i like also your hair, but in the first videos, when your hair was short looked so thin and now that is long looks like you have a lot of hair! do u have a hair extentions??

  • I LOVE your videos!!! PLEASE COME CHECK OUT MY BEAUTY CHANNEL!!! It would mean the world! :) xo

  • i like the use of the two camera angles

  • Merry Christmas marlena.. Love ur vids.. Keep them coming!

  • If you can you should make some kinda hair mask video for dry hair. I noticed your hair is really long and looks healthy. My hair grows fast but usually it gets dry and then it gets a whole bunch of split ends so a video for dry hair would be really awesome:D

  • @firedmotion a really good mask i use for my dry damaged split ends is a mixture of honey and virgin olive oil, i put it in the end s of my hair and tie it up in a bun. after a few hours of having it in my hair i wash it out. make sure you throughly wash it out though cause you dont want olive oil residue left in your hair!

  • @firedmotion What has been working for me in preventing split ends is using health food store or salon brand shampoo and conditioner. I used to get lots of split ends when I grow my hair beyond the shoulder length while using low end grocery brand (have not tried the more high end grocery brand) shampoo and conditioner. Also, use some kind of heat protection products before blow drying and styling.

  • @firedmotion

i had my hair natural for a little over a year. every other week, i would deep condition. to start, i would use the same mask she used for her face, except you substitute olive oil for the milk. smooth through your hair and cover with a processing cap or plastic bag for 10-15 min under a dryer or 20-30 min without heat. great for smoothing frizzy hair.

  • I dont say this to just anyone, but you look absolutely stunning without makeup! Strangely enough, I think you are even prettier without makeup because its obvious your beauty is real and not artificial in anyway. Lucky girl!

  • Haha "I smell guacamole is lunch ready"...haha :)

  • I Love your videos! PLEASE COME AND CHECK OUT MY BEAUTY CHANNEL!!! It would mean the world! :) xo

  • Looks wonderful for wintertime. You can make a snack of the other half of avocado. It's good for you in and outside the body. God bless you and Merry Christmas.

  • For those of you who want the super simplified science of this: The honey is antibacterial, the avocado is the main moisturizer because of the natural oils in it, and the milk softens the skin because the lactic acid in it breaks down dead skin while the fat moisturizes. :)

  • Who cares how she cut the avocado?? The point is to open it so you can scoop out the contents to make the face mask. How it is opened does not matter. Geez people, you look at everything else other than what you are supposed to.

  • I'll try this! ♥~Tonya

  • I've never seen anyone cut an avocado like that. It's kinda funny lol

  • Mmm, if I were doing this I'd just end up eating the avocado. :P

  • Is it just me or is it weird that she didn't cut the avocado lengthwise? Anyways, great video! I'll have to try this sometimes!

  • Waste of an avocado :D

  • I love your top. Could you perhaps do a favourite clothing items video and tell where you bought it ?!

  • For anyone interested in the science... Honey and milk mainly soften and exfoliate. Milk contains lactic acid and honey is rich in enzymes. The avocado is a lipid rich moisturizer.

  • thank sfor the tip but i am really concerned about my eye area as i am having wrinkle around them in this age of 24+ so i am looking for natural eye mask. could you please suggest something?

  • Lol @ ur friend trying to eat from ur face!

  • I'm glad you didn't have to sit there like every other guru and say "Sorry for the appearance, I don't have any make-up on"

    ...Confidence is key. ♥

  • hahaa, this video is awesome. i cant wait to try it. and ur so funny! haha my best friend has the same sense of humor

  • we didn't get to see how your face looked after the mask :(

  • @mddermy these arent reults you can see on camera.

  • Using it right now!!

  • Honey is a natural humectant, which means it draws moisture from the air and onto the skin. I do a similar mask with milk, oats and honey and it works brilliantly. I'll definitely give yours a try, Marlena :). Happy holidays <3

  • @OliviaYael thanks for the tip! We don't get good avocados here often, so oatmeal is a great alternative. And I have already heard that oatmeal is great for your skin.

  • I can't believe she brought out a chip! lol. This is a simple mask. I may try.

  • Marlena, you are so beautiful both inside and out! Dont ever stop making videos :D

  • You look so pretty without makeup

  • I love DIY-stuff! I've done this, but without the milk. I will definitely add the fat milk next time I do this mask.

  • loved the guacamole moment!!

  • i love ur nails :)

  • This is great cause most of us have this in our fridge. But avocado sometimes after I eat it, it makes me itchy so I'm reluctant to try it.

  • hey marlena! I have a question. Do you go fake tanning? Or do you use tanning wipes/ lotions? Or are you just that tan naturally? Thank you:)

  • You're so adorable :) Thanks for your videos :)

  • Marlena, you look so much like Katie Featherston in Paranormal Activity!

  • @faye891

her voice is even sounds the same

  • @faye891

LOL way to scare her hahaha

  • @faye891 THAT'S WHY SHE LOOKED SO FAMILIAR IN THE MOVIE :o

  • you are beautiful even with no make up!!!! wowwwwwwww!

  • tip rather than using milk, use 1 egg white.....it helps reduce spots and blemishes....if you leave it on overnight your spot will be gone by the morning, I've used this many times and it works wonders.

  • Cute!!!

  • love love love diy skin care! love love love your videos! have a truly wonderful holiday! peace.

  • i want to eat that... :D

  • ... i wonder if this would soften your feet

  • @nickyejay09 Try an Epsoms Salt soak. Cheaper and easier for feet.

  • You are super pretty and you look amazing. You are truly an inspiration (:

  • Wow. definitely going to try this. Thanks for sharing.

  • I use it at my hair also. It's great! Thanks for sharing!

  • Hehe your friend was funny! And u look sooo beautiful even with avocado on your face :)

  • I love these DIY projects/tips/videos..

  • I love relaxing in a milk, honey and vegetable oil bath. Sooooo moisturising!!

  • I don't what you say at the beginning but t sounds like « Hello Maryse ! » ... thats my name. :3

  • @TheMimize She says "Hello MUGgies!" MUG = Make Up Geek

  • YOUR NOSE IS SO PERFECT!

  • hehe... I love you Marlena. Wish you were my big sister. :D

  • how cute!!!

  • Yes, an alternative to the milk would be plain, whole organic yogurt...it has (I'm spelling this wrong) acidolpholis that helps with even acne while soothing the skin! Great video! Thanks!

  • I recommended you to my cousin who now absolutely adores you. Fun, compassionate personality! She was having a hard time finding makeup looks because her face was such a unique shape and her eyes are so big (not buggy) just like yours and has toooooons of lashes, really long and really thin so she would avoid makeup because it drew too much attention. I showed her your channel and she was so grateful because now she knows how to apply shadows and stuff to that same kind of eye shape :D THANKS!!!

  • I like home made face masks and other home made skin care more than store bought ones, I like to know EXACTLY what I'm using :D

  • love it :)

  • skin care routine video, please?

  • if i had you as a wife, id come home a happy man!

  • Perfect! I have so many freakin avocados cause we have a tree, now I can use them for this DIY idea too!

  • @11JadeStone11 you have an avocado tree?! thats a first! is it low maintenance?

  • @chouhone Yeah lots of people in CA have avocado trees. You don't need to do anything to keep it happy, it just does it on its own! Its only considered high maintenance if you can't keep up with picking all the avocados it produces :)

  • @11JadeStone11 aaahh ok yeah I had a feeling you lived in a hot area. I wish I had an avocado tree, I'd make so much sandwiches. they get pretty pricey in the winter!

  • hey, can you do a video on how you are staying on your diet around Christmas because im finding it sooo hard ! :( love it if you could ! <3

  • she didn't say "stay happy and healthy"...i was soo looking forward to that.... :(

  • Wow she looks fantastic even with the mask on =)

  • the gauc-suitor made me laugh hardxcore

  • Ok so. Now im a monkey???

  • plain yogur works better than milk

  • Hey EVERYONE , i have a fashion blog on tumblr and it would make me so happy if you checked it out ! :)

    thumbs up for support !

    thanks <3

  • In the winter time I always leave a large pot of water on simmer when I'm home.

Winter air can be quite drying so hydrating with water helps a lot!

Especially on the sinuses. No more dry nose!

  • Haha ur so pretty and beatiful... I love ur vids(: that you make for all of us

    Thankyou♥♡ツ

  • girls when u apply honey on the face do not speak ,

    it cause wrinkle

  • Good idea
