Great story in Miles' autobiography about this tune. Miles' wife, Betty Mabry, cheated on him with Hendrix. One day Hendrix's girlfriend tried to get back at Jimi by cheating on him with Miles. Miles turned her down, and instead got his revenge with this song, which includes the very obvious reference to Jimi's "The Wind Cries Mary".
