  • Hey guy, where are you? What mall?

  • I was just thinking about that. Wal-Mart pretty much is destroying all the fun of malls. When you go into a Wal-Mart it's bland and boring. In a mall, you wanna live. At Wal-Mart they want you to be 6 ft. tall, have blond hair and blue eyes, and say Heil!!! all the time.

  • @wrather

Swallow my cock and then you can bathe and die with my urine and shit on your ugly anus face.

You worthless and stupid pile of garbage.

  • it looks like my home town wheres theres nothing in it,,,the down town area where I live has no bus no train no hardware store no cab nothing but 2 resale shops and a tiny pet store and one flower shop,,thats it,,not even a movie theater but we do have 4 movie theaters but there all borded up,,ever since chunute AFB closed up in 1990 everything went with it,,the old base here looks like a military junk yard,,most of the buildngs are fallling down,,,

  • space available, see?

  • wal mart is taking over the world we got to the stop the invasion

  • Who shops at the mall? Want to pay to much for your shit? Go to the mall!

Malls generally didn't sell toilet paper, deodorant, soap and rope, the stuff that made Wal-Mart famous.

The sold CDs (iTunes killed the mall!), books (Amazon killed the mall!), jewelry (Jared killed the mall!) and clothes (Eddie Bauer killed the mall!)

The internet showed us just how bad we were getting ripped off at the mall.

You shouldn't be surprised the malls are closing.

  • Oh I love quiet and spacious wastelands - I could sit around on any of them and stare into the abundant space for hours!! And the quiet sky, where my mother Venus looks over me.

    You Americans are lucky.

  • Is there any space available?

  • Shopko and and Target are better than Walmart.

  • It's not all because of WalMart. Most of it is because of low land value, bad location Downtown Detroit for example, etc. No mentally sound person should jump to conclusions that the big corporations are responsible for everything.

  • @MIKON8ERISBACK There are MANY reasons. Wal-Mart and Best Buy are among them, and we'd be fools not to count them as PART of the issue, but there's also online shopping (both digital and mail-order), bad locations as you mentioned, opening of new malls (people are naturally attracted to newer things), the poor selection of stores in a mall... There's so many reasons for malls to close. Almost as many as there are for malls to open. *Laughs*

  • Malls say that America is rich,in the last century and superior,am I right?

  • Don't blame Wal-Mart or it's ilk, on-line and mail-order shopping have helped as well. I am sorry, but nothing competes with "going to the mall".

  • @scorpietta Amazon, eBay, bunch of other sites. While it may be more convenient ordering online, I myself prefer going to the mall instead.

  • @Mercury144 Maybe I am too much of a 80's child, but there is a sense of atmosphere. "Going to the mall!" was part of a lot of teen girls' vocab back then. I don't have clients for today, so guess what? LOL!!

  • Wal-Mart sucks ass! In GA, All Wal-Marts are full of illegals. Illegal Saturday night date. Take your seniorita to the buffet. Stuff your gut. Then it's off to Wal-Mart, and just hang out all night.

  • I could get an idea of why is empty, but I want to hear the resident's point of view of why it is like this there and if Wal-Mart is the culprit.

  • It isn't only Wal-Mart's fault. The mega-national companies which own them won't allow mom and pop stores, and if they do - they want thousands for rent per month.

  • Closing down strip malls? Might be the only good thing WalMart has ever done. Too bad it takes all the real businesses down with it. Kind of like burning your house down, with the kids inside, to get the fleas out of the living room carpet.

  • probably in the ghetto part of town.us

  • I watched a small strip mall being built in Rockford, IL and three years later it's completely empty ---not that people moved out, no one ever even moved in!!!

    Nice planning!

  • This looks like a shopping center, not a mall?

  • they should replace malls with casinos or super stores

  • Its not Walmart.. Its the ease of shopping online. I dont go to malls anymore because I can get what I want online... I think that times have changed. Malls are the thing of the past.

  • Yet for some reason developer's feel the need to keep building new strip malls, instead of trying to revitalize the old ones into something new.

  • it's the complete opposite in the cities. Here in Vegas theres a strip mall on every corner and bigger malls every 7 blocks. I have been in a small town where they only have a walmart. They built a small strip mall and within a year all the stores were closed down, I defanatly do not miss small towns.

  • Sad!

I would hate to own that strip mall.

I am sure at one time money was good on rent.....but dang...now?

    Sucks.

  • is not a mall when is outside.. is a shopping senter

  • Down with Wal-Mart!!! :(

  • out dated that might be y

  • thats not a mall, its outside.

  • It's a strip mall, but still a mall anyway.

  • Future home of the Indiana Pacers.

  • Perfect place for some burnouts/donuts

  • What town is this dead mall in ?If its in Indy, the two dead malls there are Eastgate and Lafayette Squre.

  • Space Available.

  • is this on Georgetown around 46th?

  • Um, yeah. Fail mall.

  • one more example of capitalism leaving our earth as a waste land.

  • Wal Mart also killed the " Mom and Pop "stores.:(

  • I call them Wally Marts and the old store, Monty Wards.

  • I wonder which city/state this mall is in. It looks very familiar.

  • slavemart

  • There's a whole website called deadmalls-dot-com.

  • Well, if you look on the side of the Newspaper boxes, it says Indianapolis.

So I am assuming it's in Indianapolis.

  • theres a good documentary called walmart: the high price of low cost... its worth a look

  • i stopped shopping at walmart long ago. Anyone who buys things there are only financing our factories being moved to China.

    Down with Walmart.

  • by the sperm of all these boys that fuck you

  • get the teeth out of your ass

  • You all hate WalMart, but I see you in there all the time. I know you love the discount prices.

  • that's not techically a mall, more of a strip mall, and anyways malls failing is not always due to walmart, there also the ecomony to factor into it, as welll as location of the area, age of the mall, any new shopping places that have poped up, so theres more facotrs than just walmart to consoder...

  • Kinda looks like a shithole anyway to be honest.

  • Here is a simple solution for everyone, stop shopping at Wal-Mart. There, now the malls won't go out of business.

  • Isnt this a market place not a mall

  • I wonder the same thing as wkat950 is asking. Where is this based at???

  • Thanks for the video. Really-not being sarcastic or anything ;D.

Wal-Mart is fucking all of us up once again. Our mall has gone out of business almost, one store left-- the Bon Ton.

We need to bring these malls back! There are employers in those malls who are suffering because there is less or no income for them (although, they have moved to less fortunate locations).!

  • Walmart sucks up all the little businesses, thats why i also hate Wal-mart. its terrible

  • that is a shopping center, not

  • Funny, there used to be one and a hair salon. Even the cat is gone!

  • is there at least a naiul salon?!

  • Where is this facility located?
