  • Grimm, I just got me a silver bullet and when ordering it there were a lot of different items u could order with it (from altsmoke). I'm not real sure which tank it is but I ordered the 3 ml tank option with it. It will do great for like 2-3 "toots" but then it gets really "gurgly" and is almost impossible to take a draw off of and starts to leak everywhere. What's the deal and is where it leaks around where the atomizer screws into the unit gonna end up causing damage?

  • @lewisjordan538 did you cut a new hole in it? if the center of the carto gets cut too deep it will cause INSANE flooding. The SB is sealed along the connection so you should be alright

  • Hey mate, I just got a Silver bullet and ive been using it for about 2 hours constant vaping and applying the juice. And i couldnt feel a thing going down my throat which is kinda what i liked. Now im just getting a burning sensation and i cant breathe it in, just makes me cough. I use different atomiser 510 each time and applying couple of drops so its not burned out, same with me e9 from e-cig.com just getting a burnt taste after vaping on it for a bit.

  • @TBMSkribble if you're rocking 6v make sure you are keeping that atty WET,

  • @GrimmGreen Nah only 3.7 but its only happening sometimes now, just have to keep applying that juice. I really hate this chinese juice i got just orded some from sweet-vapes should set me off. Would you be able to email me on luke@thebuttonmasherz(dot)com for a few more questions? Thanks c:

  • Hey Grimm,

Is the silver Bullet regulated or have resistance? Does the battery stay at a full 3.7v all the way until it is drained?

  • @rosiedog32 Using the AW IMR batteries I have not noticed a significant voltage drop. It's stronger right off the charger obviously. But I get good hits until the battery is dead

  • Grimm,

Have you ever done a review on a Provari ? Just wanting to know your take on it, or a variable voltage equivalent.

  • @artbyshan nope, never even really tried out a ProVari , I have a few other VV mod videos out there like the Buzz Pro and the Diamante mods

  • I have a Silver Bullet and an Omega and I love them both, My Omega is the latest model and it does not tarnish. The newer ones are hard chrome plated as opposed to the original nickel plated ones. The new ones do not tarnish at all but, of course, being chrome, they do fingerprint easily. I can live with that, though.

  • Another comparison I've looked for and can't find: a ce2 tank mod VS a cartomizer tank mod. MAP offers both, but some other places offer just one kind or the other. Pros/Cons to them? Is it all personal pref? I know with the cartomizer version you can get dual coil and not with the ce2 version. Suggestions as to how to choose?

  • @ShieAyla It's really personal preference, If you like the CE2s then go with a traditional MAP, if you like dual coils or 510 cartos, then go with a liquinator or a j-tank or something like that.

  • i've been using the omega for about a year, and before that i had the sb for about a year both at 6v...the omega kicks the sb's ass in every category. until i took it apart to clean it and for some reason the contact starts sliding around and it won't fire, but i fixed it and it's back to full on win. i've never had it fire in my pocket either. i live in texas and it works perfectly in the summer heat, but idk about cold.

  • Hey Nick: I've been using the silver bullet and the BB for over a year now at 6-volts

and they have been working perfectly with no issues,. they are all I use very heavly . Sometimes I like the smaller BB sometimes the Silver Bullet and have never needed to stray. Well, there's my 2 cents. Keep up the great vids and attitude ! All the best wishes!!!!

  • Altsmoke sure does make great mods. A BB vs ALPHA mod battle one day?

  • E-cig/PV fact: the first Silver Bullet prototypes used an 18500 battery.

  • It seems like an easy choice. Get a provari.

  • In Philadelphia huh? Question: is it always sunny there or not?

  • @l337acc Always

  • 2 mods I check out a few times..thought about buying one of them for a backup mod lol..keep up the good work green..check out my videos when you have a chance 2

  • I was really hoping for a clear winner. I'll cast a vote for the Bullet. (It hits harder than my Omega) ;) LLRAR! *SNAP*

    slip ;)

  • That was a weak battle. Next time make a vat of Jello and have 2 ladies using the mods scrap it out. We can broadcast the event live from VaperCon.

But I shouldn't be selfish. We'll get Rob and Chad to go head to head too for all the women. They like Jello too.

    TheGreen

  • I'm glad you did this, thanks Grimm:)

  • I would like to see someone invent a cylindical 6v 14500 with 1000 mah! LOL I like vaping at 3,2 , 3,6 but a 6v 14500 would be nice for the future alpha variable voltage

    <just wishing!!! :)

  • @amingermany that's crazy talk , I want someone to invent a cigarette sized , 2,500mah PV , variable voltage, with a built in tank lol

  • @amingermany that's crazy talk , I want someone to invent a cigarette sized , 2,500 mah PV , variable voltage, with a built in tank lol

  • @2009dclawer bot pg and vg are used as ingredients to preserve food, so my guess is they both last a good deal. No definitive answer though

  • I just wanted to thank you for your dedication to vaping. I had been smoking for 22 years and just couldnt kick it. I started on a penstyle but started having problems with the cartos and the batts just didnt last.. Now I own a Alpha from Altsmoke runnin on 14500 900mah 3.6v with a 510 atty and a drip tip also with xl cartos. Dual coil cartos on the way. You have been very informative and mods are the only way to go

  • I have both of these mods and I prefer the Silver Bullet.

  • I prefer the SB, but only because I could see the Omega possibly firing in my pocket and possibly lint or debris getting into the opening and blocking the firing mech. but another great vid again Nick, as always :)

  • @SouthCarolinaMike Yeah also cold weather and the Omega don't get along, I was vaping my Omega outside at work in the freezing cold snow and it just got stuck closed. It's like the cold shrank the inside of the plunging chamber :(

  • Another AWESOME video!!! Thanks bro!

  • The omega requires decent clearance for a comfortable plunge which is obstructed with some of the tanks out there, in my alpha I just about get enough clearance for my bulli a2t, even though the omega is larger it's still going to be problematic. For that reason the bullet wins for me, the omega definitely wins in the looks department though.

  • does anyone know if pg based juices have a longer "shelf life" than a vg based juice. or, vice versa. if so, please reply. i've been researching this for quite some time, and i can't seem to come up with anything.

  • Hey dude I am a noob to e cigs (fail ino lol) I bought a starter pack from the local gas station and fell in love with it but I want to get into the actual liquid and good device. Whats the best setup that I can get where ill get a good hit like you do. And not have to worry about liquid leaking that much. And where can I find it. Thanks

  • @theswitchman90 dude new to e-cigs is not a fail first off, and welcome, find us on FB and we can point you whereever you need...or twitter...Grimm ARMY FTW!!!

  • @theswitchman90 Lots of good juice vendors, Eliquidplanet, liquidxpress, pinkspotvapors, puresmoker. What you want to look for is a big battery with a big MAH rating, the Joye Ego is a good place to start, they have 1,000mah batteries. The Ego also has a cone to help stop leaking

  • double toot ftw!!

  • @broser851 ha ha , it wasn't a bad toot either

  • When people say one hits harder has a simple explanation. The silverbullet is not mechanical and can lose some voltage with all the wires. The button can have some issues in the long term (although i won't believe that).

The omega is a pretty slick PV but to be honest, plunger buttons are not my favorites ones....reminds me of the copper mod.

Anyway both mods are great because if they weren't they would have left the market a long time ago.

  • i got my tekk mod and my e-go and im happy

  • thanks, bro!... would love to see more vids like this!

  • @1969halo your wish is my command

  • Grimm is the vapors' best friend. Stay strong Nick. Thank you for sharing with all of us.

  • @misterwipedown thank you very much :)

  • very nice, Rob would be proud that someone admits a metal tube with batteries doesn't mean shit. keep it up bro.

  • thanks grimm for this vid =) i already got the omega and been using it for almost 2wks now and i soo love it. after watching this, will surely get the silver bullet next =)

  • I assume that you would pretty much say the same about the "Alpha vs BB" huh?

I'm kinda looking at those two a little more because of the size.

  • @blaidrider2 Pretty much yeah, they are both mini versions pretty much of these PV's, the BB is not quite the silver bullet, but it's the same idea

  • Grimm

    Do more of these videos.

This one was really helpfull !!!!

  • I think I would have mentioned something about fat tanks...the SB seems to be the more convenient for the big tank gear due to button position perhaps? Good review though. :-)

  • @caseyjp1 Yeah, the Omega and the new big tanks dont get along very well

  • Your Altsmoke link is bad. :)

  • @glitterglue123 DOH! i'll fix ti

  • Oh man! you cut off before you vaped them both!

    Animal!

  • I'll take one of each, thank you.

    Justine :o )

  • Nice dvices. ^^

  • @vanderzarth Thanks :)

  • Nice vid... refreshing a bit I might say... enjoyed it, thank you.

  • @isoplus3513 Glad you enjoyed it , I always prefer doing NON reviews of things.

  • Ok Bombshell and the Silver Bullet.

  • @eedwards74 ha ha ha ha ha, maybe next time lol

  • I was gonna buy the silver bullet, but then i got the Provari. I love being able to change voltages. After seeing this i might go out and get it anyway. I'll just keep it at work... Thanks for the video Grimm...

  • @pharaoh1976 My pleasure, Still would like to get my hands on a ProVari someday

  • Grimm if you use a 18650 high drain battery on your Silver Bullet, try a battery extension and your EGO Booster, it works like a Champ. I own a Silver Bullet, it is still my favorite device. Great video, thanks.

  • @5110damen does that really work? strange, i'll have to give it a shot, thanks

  • @GrimmGreen The onlt way to improve a Silver Bullet is by adding a dash of vari volt, if you have a 510 battery extension and a 18650 high drain battery, you will never put it down.

  • @GrimmGreen Long story short. YES!

  • Hey Grimm, nice video. In your experience, do the high drain batteries perform better compared to a regular 18650 battery?

  • @lowjack12 Yeah i'm a big fan of the AW IMR high drains, my IMR 26650 measured 4v under load, very nice for LR

  • "Plunge your way to Vaping Happiness" Wow!

  • @QCAssociates ha ha ha ha , well you can!! thanks for stopping by Leggo

  • My first was Silver, gave that to my buddy (noob), then got a gray one, traded it for 500ml of Lust, now I cornered (or threatened? lol) Jason of electronistix @ Vapefest to sell his white stormtrooper, so I'm a SB fan =-D Great vid Nick! Have fun @ Vapercon homie!

  • @vapingmonkey Thanks dude!!! Wish you were coming to Vapercon, Maybe Vapercon2 lol

  • Why choose? I have both.

    :-D

  • @TheAlmightyFSM ha ha , i could not agree more
