Peppers = psycheldelic gods of hendrix fueled alternative punk funk who basically invented rap rock

Nirvana = kings of alt rock and creators of a genre that successfully mixed alt rock, punk, and hard rock to define 90's music and turn music around 180 degrees

Personally, I like the Peppers, but that's just taste. Neither one of them is "better"

i mean they wer both influenced by the punk scene but they sound so different nirvana is much darker and if i listen to there songs i can feel the anger with rhcp i listen to them and i feel upbeat good vibes but i couldnt mosh to more than half the of their music while nirvana has the aurora in it that energy that never fades and dies

you can do it by ear or with talent on paper, the chilli's had all musicians making something (to the best of my knowlege) that no one has replicated on such a scale. Nirvana had dave who only exposed his talent when he made appearances with other bands and the foos. by ear is personal preferance really, but its a shit question as you have to remember back in the day there was a far wider musical diversity all over and the charts, where as now its only pop...or r n b...or grime. very bad lolv

But what people dont relise is Nirvana hit so big so fast compared to RHCP isnt fair due to they werent working no where near as long. So if Nirvana kept its momentum defiently Nirvana, Kurt Cobain during that time was being compared to Paul and John from the beatles saying hes them rolled into one. That just gives you a idea of how big he was during the early 90's
