Thanks DJ MM. I made one for my Hazer. But I was just curious, for just utility trunks to throw my wires, etc. in what would you recommend for a company that would have cheap, but good quality trunks/utility road cases? Thanks!
Way cool. i think it would also be cool is u added a muli-colored light right on the box. so then if you had it in only one place and didn't have to roll it around during an event you could have the light changing the color of the fog. Also, i wonder if you could make a PVC "T" attachment to the nozzle and maybe use pool piping that flexes and make two nozzles that would make two points of outputs of fog.
Mike You are the Man, but color your beard because this is a young mans business and the gray shows your age. Isn't that why you shaved your head bald?
what do you think about painting the outside of a case as far as if you are only going to use it lets say 2-4 years and only every other week do you think it is worth the saved money?
Dude i dont understand how you can say its cheap to build your own cases. i looked into all the hardware to build one from penn elcom, and all that shit cost almost as much as buying one. the casters alone are almost 100, just the corner railing is another 80 and so on. and even the laminat and foam is super high $. figured it would cost about $300. to build one.
@gerard7622 For some case its not cost efective but if you need unuque sizes or styles this is your only option . Some cases out ther like a double mocing head case can cost over $500 so thats $200 in my pocket ...Its not for everyone but ther is a cost savings most of the time.
Hey MM just watching yr vid great stuff very creative & hard work put in..i do disco mobile karaoke etc in uk northeast & i was wondering if i took some ideas from you put it into practice here seems very slow with my town being a seaside town called sunderland :O)
Hey Just wondering what modle of corner Extrusion do you use and what model of ball corners do you use as i can see the ball corners have a lip in them to fit the extrusion
and dam those wheels are expensive! $17 for a non breaking and $27 for a breaking WOW.
Great Video Mike! Super helpful, inspired me to go build a case for my lights..Just wondering where did you pick up the aluminum, and the ball corners?
Well I dont have time to waste I thought you or someone might get something out of it like in all of my videos Im just trying to help. Sorry you didnt get anything out of this video I was not trying to waste your time
You've got a talent man, not to mention you have every toy needed to build all this stuff. haha. The final product looked great. I wish ya would've put the color strip parallel with the ground once, just to see what the effect would be under the fog, can you do that sometime for us viewers? Great vid...
Nice video mike ,I notice you have a northern sound & light tshirt on,I get alot of stuff from those guys.they are about ahalf hour from my house. Thanks DJ Bizzyb53
hey mike thanx for taking the time to post ur knowledge and taking the time to do this i make just about eveything myself and u were the only person out when i went to find info on case building been watching ur vids ever since thanx man its nice to see someone else who realizes that doing it urself isnt always easy but its always worih it
Innovation, forward thinking and such a great idea.
Possible upgrade for that cart (based upon what you did in the video) to have a mini led colorstrip mounted to the front to light up the fog coming out.

I don't know from where u got this prices but for except the Martin MAC 250 Entour:
EUR 2969,- without Case and EUR 3099,- with Case.
In USD that's $4027 without Case and $4204
That's $177 only for the Case.. seems cheap for me =)

hey u know what you could have done is made a lift off lid case where its the smae design with a small base but then you put a large lid.
by the way how much do u pay per meter/foot/yard for the extrusion?
im just trying to compare prices in the US and here in Australia :D
martin0mac2000 2 years ago
I just had some scraps laying around or I would have made a whole case for it.
thanks MM
