  • Hahahah THAT'S A LOAD OF **blooming nonsense!**

  • absolute great ness

  • Poppycock LMAO !Quality upload thanks.

  • I dunno why, but when I first sawe this way back when, I thought that the utterance of poppycock was Barclaycard, though I can hear poppycock the more i watch it.

  • "come on for goodness sake" this sketch was my favourite back in the day!!!

  • What the "dickens" d'you mean? Champions!

  • 'he wants you off the case because you blinking swear too much' 'POPPYCOCK!!!!'

  • The fact the voice-over guy sounds like a middle aged american just amplifies the humour!

  • POPPYCOCK!!

  • lol give us yer wallet...

  • That's a load a bloomin nonesense chief and you know it.

  • it really is Vic Mackay from The Shield

    hahaha

  • Classic! haha

  • Senator Jensen is the biggest " blinkin scoundral"

  • saw this last week on sky ,not seen it in years and i pissed myself laughing brilliant..

  • Come on for 'goodness' sake

  • i dont think the guys form mr. show would even be aware of harry enfield.

  • They thank Harry Enfield in the credits to the episode which features their Pallies sketch.

Cross has also droned on in interviews about how much British comedy he admires.

  • Hale & Pace are/were so underrated.

...and I must start using the word 'poppycock' more! :)

  • the original robocop and beverly hills cop were the very best examples. Find someone with a VHS recording from TV in the mid 80's. Gauranteed pisser.

  • Hale & Pace is now on Men&Motors channel every Monday at 10pm & 10:30pm

  • watch channel

  • I think the most bizarre example of a movie censored for the American TV market was "Blazing Saddles". The scene of all the cowboys eating beans & farting around the campfire had all the fart noises censored out. This actually made the scene much ruder & funnier, because the farts were SBDs!

  • i wish this was actual way they cencor these shows - you know EXACTLY what they're f"poppycock"n saying, if youre old enough :)

  • LOL dude i think the guy who plays victor mackay on The Shield must have watched this sketch back in the day

  • Yeah, Pallies from Mr. Show actually copies the Harry Enfield sketch, but this Hale & Pace version was on before the Enfield one.

  • Pallies!

  • For those who don't know, this is parodying the dubbed versions of profanity laden films such as Scarface when aired on British TV in the early/mid 90s. Mainly directing this at sparced - maybe you just didn't like it, but in case you didn't get it there it is.

  • yeh, like the line " how'd you get that scar eating pinapple", instead of "pussy" when you first see tony montana.

  • even as a kid I knew this was shite.

  • hale & pace was fantastic i loved it every sunday evening watching them both. why the hell won't itv put them on dvd for people to buy

  • What the 'dickins' do you mean !

  • ROTFL!
