hey daniel.. love the vids.. is the demo still available? and what settings is brent using.. also is this a released song by any chance? because it sounds awesome..
theres an interface for it. a few actually. Waves and PRS actually have a "custom" interface, but you can use any audio interface that includes an instrument input.
No, not at all... BUT, it is less than 100 bucks and its designed as a D.I. Box (slash) preamp strictly for guitar and optimized for Waves GTR. Although something like the GTR box is nice to have, if you have something like the Lexicon Lambda or M-Audio Fast Track, its not as necessary as you would think. Especially since it doesnt have USB or Firewire.
yah, Waves software isnt cheap or for the faint of heart, lol.
the most simple way (as far as im concerned) is a DAW (Pro Tools; Logic, etc) and an interface like the M-Audio Fast Track, Focusrite Sapphire LE, or PreSonus Audiobox, something inexpensive that includes a instrument input to hook your guitar straight into.
GTR3 is virtually just a crazy elaborate plug-in, as long as you have a DAW and a USB or firewire interface, you can rock out with just that.
reminds me of hotel california in the start

Ok cool. Yeah, i'd like it, but, at the price GTR3 is at, i'd like to go without it u know?
I'm new to this; what's the most basic minimalist way to use GTR3? Thanks alot! (not a dumb name btw)
