When I heard this 20 years ago, I liked it, but felt that some of it was a bit melo-dramatic. HOWEVER..... When it's public knowledge (or should be), that Kissinger & the CIA played a major role in putting Pinochet in power, which must have involved disposing of his vocal critics, there doesn't seem any reason to think that they'd have too many ethical qualms about doing the same to their own citizens.

I thought it obvious why drugs are absolutely everywhere. Rich, poor and middle sububs, even countries, and war zones. Everywhere. I don't see any Drug War, just a Drug Appeasement, otherwise drugs would be really difficult to get and only attainable in certain areas. Like the music, what is it? I was dumbfounded when the Taliban said, "no more poppies for smack production", who were they kidding other then themselves.
