On May 10, 2008 Jacobs was walking on the platform at Cheltenham railway station when she tripped and fell onto the tracks and into the path of an oncoming train. She couldn't move out of the way in time and died instantly. Due to Jacobs carrying a fake ID at the time, it took the police several hours to identify her. On the day Jessie died she was on her way to meet her mom so they could buy a birthday present for her older brother Adam. She is buried at St Kilda Cemetery.

This is awful; I remember watching The Saddle Club when I was younger.
A tragedy similar to her's happened to a seventeen-year-old girl at my school a month ago. And her name was also Jessica. :(
