  • Usually when I see these "getting the film look" videos, it's some horribly pathetic attempt that doesn't work at all; but this is the best one I've seen. Film is the only thing that looks like film, but this wasn't bad at all. Great work.

  • Nice, it really has a vintage film stock look. I've been trying to emulate film stocks from the 70's , I've noticed how desaturated those stocks were. If you brought the color saturation down just a touch, it would really help sell the effect, but nice job none the less.

  • When I clicked on the video, I was expecting a horrible dose of film grain effects but I must say, the start shot with the trees seemed pretty much like film. :) What type of effect did you use?

  • @CubeLuda Hi there! No effect, the result is the outcome of attaching a 35mm lens adapter with a 24mm f/2.8 slr lens to the end of an Hv30 (also works with hv20/hv40). The lens is a little "slow", so it caused a lot of vignetting, but I suppose that's good for some folks. Thanks though, that's what I was going for!
