Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Will be an afternoon i wont forget. It is such a tragedy that we have so few opportunities to share our talents live. Keep at it. You do a good job. Big smile.
Man- ton't be so hard on yourself- this is very nicely played. I'm a big fan of Mr. Tyer's arrangements as well. Have you checked any of his other arrangements? I really enjoy playing his version of the "Tennessee waltz" and "Waltzing Matilda". I'm working on "Over the rainbow".
That is great the best I heard.Congrats. I wish I could play like that. I am a Vocolist from Canada. Have a great Day & take care. Sincerely michaelgavin
Wow, you play that very nice. I'm learning this song and it's quite a bit above my skill level so my left hand is getting killed, but I'll keep practicing.
That was wonderful, real feeling in there, rare thesedays. And a brilliantly controlled right hand, perfect separation of the notes in every chord. Lovely, lovely stuff :) x
Thanks for the stars. I'm hoping they're redeemable for cash. I checked out some of your videos. You're very talented. If you're as dedicated as you are talented you'll be an outstanding guitarist long before you're ready to fall in love.
I know what you're saying. I've been tempted to remove it and try agin. Tempo has always been a problem for me. I can't seem to slow it down. I hope someone else will do this arrangement with the proper expression.
Just checked out this arr. on the Tyers site, thanks for the heads up, it's a sweet arr. You played it real nice, very good phrasing throughout. I think a tad slower might be even more effective and romantic. Watch the eighth notes in the bridge section, play them a bit more evenly, it sounds like you're using a dotted rhythm instead of even 8ths. Love the luscious vibrato at the end! Thanks for the music. GR
Hi Mike! Great video! I really like you version. It looks as a difficult arrangement. I like the way to make the melody sound so clear and on top of your chords!! Great job. Respect!!
Thanks, Peo. It's not really a difficult piece ... I just make it look difficult. Actually, the part that's played at the higher frets is pretty challenging for me ... as is obvious from this performance.
I do wish you would stop under-estimating your considerable ability. I would die to be able to barre so cleanly. No matter how I position my first finger in a barre position, I always get one or other string sitting perfectly in the groove behind a knuckle, with the attendant buzz!!
I really like this arrangement and it is all the better played by you.
If you have trouble with bar chords, we have something in common. There's very little meat on my fingers, so I press harder than should be necessary. As a result, this relatively simple tune has worn my left hand out by the time I finish. Thanks for the encouragement, Paul. I'll use it to motivate me through a couple more practice sessions.
Thanks, Wilfried. I'm afraid both were rushed into production. Both needed a little more practice. Are you working on something special? It's been awhile since your last video.
Yeah. I am falling in love with your guitar songs :)
