  • kinda miss the beep :(

  • lol at all the people "this car is faster," "that car handles better.." None of them probably own the cars they talk about, because then they might be able to afford a camera as well. Like you. Nice car.

  • oh yeah. the 100+ hp and completely different transmission makes no difference....right

  • looks like how my IS350 was STOCK!!

  • im usually not a lexus guy but thats a great all around car. at a great price too

  • Lol at performance cars don't have automatic transmissions, ever been to a dragstrip?

  • good intake set up would be joe-z pipe and tom's airfilter

  • Nice run sounds bad...As for the warning: SRT intake sucks! ok thanks I will not buy that intake i plan on twin turbos anyway

  • IS-f cheaper but faster then M3 in Straight line ... no?

  • Its cheaper but its better built and will last longer and give you less problems come with more luxury and technology its faster handles great awesome fun on the track....ummm idk about you but IS-F for me . Not to mention it looks better...i see m3's allllllllll the time and their very blah in design...the is-F on the other hand gets stares from everyone. The only people looking at a M3 are car people who know what is it. The IS-F also sound better.

    IS-F = Win.

  • yaa true add me as friend man i always see u commenting on the isf videos too lol

  • @Toyota4Life yup very tru i own a 2008 isf and when i stop at red light with the c63 i get more attentions than the c63 (maybe im more handsome than the other guy) but yea isf isss the beasttttt

  • Lets face facts, performance cars DONT have automatic transmissions! Secondly you have posted miss information "The worlds fastest shift time for street legal production cars". WRONG!! Lexus

  • Maybe that's why the GT-R, the Ferrari 599XX, Lamborghini Murciélago LP670-4 Super-Veloce and Mercedes-Benz McLaren SLR or the SLS AMG all do 0-60 in under 4 seconds and all have automatic transmissions.

  • check your facts, the only cars with automatics are the mercedes, the others have some type of smg or dsg computer controled clutch

  • If you want to get technical, they are called 'automated manual' transmissions. Jeez.

  • i did nt wanna get to technical with someone like you who thinks the lambo and ferrari have "automatic" transmission

  • we both know arguing on youtube is pretty petty, so please stfu already and be on your merry way.

  • i hope you learned something

  • oh for fuck's sake.

  • AUTOMATIC!

  • Not just any Automatic though!

The worlds fastest shift time for street legal production cars. At 0.1 second, its faster than you.

    • Full manual shift control that can be instantly accessed by moving the console-mounted shift lever to M and then using either the steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters or the shift lever.

    • A direct feel unlike most automatics, made possible via clutch lockup employed in 2nd through 8th

    - First gear torque multiplication for maximum off-the-line acceleration

  • hahahhaaaa lol....its a fuckin automatic, the fact that lexus doesnt have a twin clutch system is unforgiveable

  • Your stupid! its better than a twin clutch system!

  • wow great comeback......too bad you cant back it up with proof! Lets see, so far we have VW, Porsche,BMW,Ferrari,lambo..your right they must be wrong...lol.

  • Porsche has had it in their racing program for over 20 years, but never realized it into production, because they wanted to do it right, twin clutch is very complicated and hard to do right.

BMW just comes up out of nowhere with theirs and it already has recall notices, VW also has problems with theirs. Porsche and Ferrari are the only 2 to get it right so far.

As for the Lexus, the transmission is working flawlessly and WILL last longer than a dual clutch trans.

  • hahhaaa you need to check your facts....that is far from the fastest shift time!!

  • .1 second is still very fast. Just because it is not the fastest, does not mean it is worse. The Lexus trans will last longer, it is more adaptable for daily driving, but still has the capability to shift up and down in .1 sec and provides a torque converter lock up in 2-8 gear.

I can tell your one of those people who don't look at the bigger picture, and just because the DCT is slightly faster you think it is the best!

  • i have driven both and for sure the C63 isnt faster then the IS-F.

  • fucking liar

  • The new 2009 BMW X5 M would take this in a straight.

  • Well thank god the roads don't have pesky corners eh?

  • The C63 AMG would take this in a straight and in corners.

  • Straight, yes; corners? no.

  • Is your car heavily modded ? If not, then the C63 is faster in corners. (from a japanese review)

  • YA.... but the c63 has over 100 more HP

  • ya thats true but the isf looks better and it costs a little less

  • but mercedes doesnt suck, so ther you go

  • maxou5757: > The C63 AMG would take this in a > straight and in corners. Lexus IS-F cornering capabilities: Slalom (mph):70.2 Skid Pad Lateral acceleration (g): 0.93 Handling Rating : Excellent Mercedes C63 AMG cornering capabilities: Slalom (mph):68.6 Skid Pad Lateral acceleration (g): 0.89 Handling Rating: Very Good Source: Edmunds Insideline full tests of both cars.
  • Edmunds sucks... they said that the M5 does 0-62 in 4.9secs, 0.3 secs slower than the M3 Sedan... LOLOLOLOLOL !! They clearly know nothing. There's a video on Youtube of japanese on a track comparing the IS-F with the C63 AMG and the BMW M3, the IS-F lost in third position.

  • These Japanese video results is easy to understand.

BMW M3 corners faster than IS-F and has a bit more straight line power. So it won.

The C63 AMG corners slower than IS-F but has so much of straight line power advantage it makes up for what it looses in corners.

  • If it's the japanese video I'm thinking of, the driver of the IS-F was definitely the freshman class driver. He was bounced the rev limiter multiple times, and was letting the rear slide out way too much. The C63 is a great car.. but I test drove both and bought the IS-F. The C63 is much easier to add power to. Exhaust+program = well into 500hp.

  • Nice Find, Also remember that this C63s are tested WITHOUT the performance package which was included in the 09 model years. With the performance package, not even the M3 would stand a chance on the track..

  • @maxou5757 my friends c63 cought fire and it was non moded so it will burst into flames on corners

    :)

  • @ercmchl Yea for sure... nOT.

  • @maxou5757 hes currently in a lawsuit with mercedez he had a c63 AMG for about 2 months was on his way home from the dealer due to a electrical problem with the fuel guage always reading half tank and it burt into flames a block away from his house

  • @ercmchl Ok... well it's sad he got unlucky.

My uncle's lexus GS450h engine broke in half like a month ago... lol

  • @maxou5757 your a fucking idiot. What your saying is like comparing a porsche to a honda. Of course a mid sized sedan with a TWIN TURBO v12 is going to beat a comparable mid sized sedan with a NA v8. Don't ever comment again, you have lost your privileges.

  • @0whitealex0 stfu you know nothing.

  • @maxou5757 prove me wrong and I will. Since you cant, you have lost your commenting privileges.

  • @0whitealex0 Who are you to tell me that? i have nothing to prove you, you, on the other hand, have lost your commenting privileges.

  • @0whitealex0 V12 twin turbo ? which car?

  • @maxou5757 if your asking that then you dont even know what your talking about. I suggest you go back to school, learn how to formulate a logical argument, and never talk about cars again and never comment on here again.

  • @0whitealex0 I talked about C63, so STFU with your stupid V12 twin turbo argument...

  • @maxou5757 c63 amg IS a V12 of course any car you put that in is going to be faster than a car you put a v8 in. Think next time before you comment stupid ass.

  • @0whitealex0 That's probably the funniest thing ive ever seen on Youtube... you are saying I'm a stupid ass, i shouldnt be replying because i'm an idiot .... but you are telling me that the Mercedes c63 AMG have a V12 ? Are you fucking dumb ? It's a N/A V8 you fucking cunt, just get the fuck out of here you know nothing about cars.

  • @maxou5757 Among C63, M5, RS4, and ISF, C63 has the stronger engine. Hence, it will beat all of them on a straight line. However, C63 loses to all in corners. The engine is just too strong for handling corners.

  • @MrDefq "The engine is just too strong for handling corners". Think about this statement, then think about how fucking retarded it sounds.

  • @sklyrovka with not so accurate stability control, a very powerful engine can't go through corners properly. Search C63 AMG vs. M3 on youtube, and enlighten yourself.

  • @maxou5757 Reliability, NO. Corner's NO. Re-Sale, NO. Straight Line, YES. Driver Satisfaction, HELL YES!!!!!!!

  • @maxou5757 my Corvette C6 will take this C63 AND E63 in straight and corners

  • @RandyMedion But it's a Corvette, car that does not have any equipment, comfort, luxury or space.

  • @maxou5757 seems you never drove a C6, to be honest I think my base C6 has too much comfort for a sportscar and I haven't mentioned some other new gadgets that Lexus, BMW and Mercedes doesn't have...

  • @RandyMedion hahahah ! What gadgets your Corvette have the others does not have? I bet nothing. A C63 AMG or Lexus ISF is way too much luxury to even consider comparing them with the Corvette.

  • @maxou5757 for example the HUD, magnetic suspension, start stop button, keyless entry, button to open doors from the inside instead of handles, not to mention the awesome new auto transmission with paddles, only turns 1300rpm@60mph, 35mpg and VERY quiet, mention at least ONE car with similair HP that can reach that and such low rpm.No thanks, I don't want al those new pussy 4doors, but a real car that has a name for over 50years, should be compared with the R8, XKR etc still kicks all there asses

  • @RandyMedion keyless entry, start stop button, magnetic suspension ?????????? automatic transmission with paddles? Are you kidding me ? LOL all those sport Mercedes, Bmw and Lexus have these things

and by the way, both the Lexus and Mercedes can go to 60mph at about 1300RPM, because the MErcedes gets a 7 speed transmission and the Lexus, 8.

  • hey ozztube i own an isf as well and am thinking about the SRT intake but i heard it comes with a computer tuner, how does it work exactly? That sounds really good btw

  • the intake added a little burble at the top...nice

  • sounds like God's stomach rumbling...

  • the sound is awesome. can't see the speedo so i cant really appreciate it .looks kinda quick. That 8spd has some really short gears.

  • If you do watch in high quality you can get a little bit better of a view. it was from my digital camera so that's why it's so crappy :)

You are right. The gears are VERY short.

  • nice ride

  • Are you blind, retarded, or both?

  • and i suppose ur geo metro can out run it?

  • WTF?!

  • hahaah crazy..u must have the Verizon NV. when i heard that " message from " at the end i thought it was my phone hahaa

  • Intake is coming off. The ECU is garbage.

  • Guys, I am an IS-F fan, but let's be realistic. The IS 350 is about 200 lbs lighter than the IS-F and has better weight distribution (52:48 vs 54:46). This means that with the same tyres (stock on IS-F), it would be pretty close to the IS-F on the track. No match at the drag strip or highway, but a track race would be pretty close... I think that the difference would be about as big as the difference between the IS-F and the (V8) M3, actually. M3 > IS-F > IS 350, of course.

  • stock isf manage 12.50 at the 1/4 mile and 12.38 with good tires look for it here in youtube.. as for is350 with bolt ons sea level and wind in favor it runs 12.9.. stock is in the 13 mark around 13.3 so.. dont know what you are talking about even m3 is from 12.5-12.8 too.. and in a straight line isf is equal or a bit faster than m3.. isf has even managed a 0-60 in 4.1 which is here in youtube too look for it

  • Hi. As is clear from my previous post, I was talking about a track (with corners), not a drag strip. The IS-F is surely faster in a straight line than the M3 (top speed and acceleration at higher speeds, even if both cars have the speed limiter disabled). However, I don't believe that a stock IS-F can do 0-60 in 4.1 under any circumstances. It is actually quite tricky to get substantially under 5.0 in real life. 4.5 maybe, but 4.1, well... That's nearly GT-R territory... I'd pick IS-F anyway.

  • its pretty much unbeliavable but look for the vid it named "is f acceleration run"... and you are right in a track m3 is faster than isf but theres a drawback m3 brakes fade out very quickly.. i was in a is f in a whole weekend racing in the track and there was no fade not one on the brakes plus we drove it back home and gave 29.4mpg

  • Cool! I would think that BMW has to have proper sports brakes. That's REALLY cool that a Lexus outperforms a BMW. I already knew that the old GREAT GS 400 outbrakes and out-slaloms a Ferrari (don't remember which). Cool...

  • well i wouldnt say that lol because i think they fade out like that because it really brakes hard.. but its like a very fast car it has lots of power and everything but it uses out the gas a lot more as well

  • dosent really compare to is-f m8

  • =OOOOO i think i drooled a little

  • Wow...that is so fast. Props, nice vid man...5.0 liter v8 power!

  • Hot.
