what do you mean there are no animals in the pokemon world? there are fish in plenty of episodes. also i remember seeing someone using worms as bait. a lot of pokedex entries reference animals so they must be in that universe. also a ghastly transformed into a mongoose in one episode and another character comented that a mongoose can kick a snakes butt.

You should get Thunderbolt from the Game Corner and teach it to Nidoking for the water coverage. I heard that the second machine from the right, the one in the very bottom, has higher odds of you winning that any of the other machines. I tried it on my FireRed game and it's true.

Aside from that, great walkthrough, I also hate Pikachu, I tried to use it for my game and it died like a noob on the water type gym 'cause it has horrible defenses, but I still use it on Wi-Fi every now and then. 5*
