If you had to choose between the Microtech Combat Troodon or the Microtech Ultratech, which one would you go with? I am really having a hard time deciding. Thanks
is a OTS better than this OTF knife(the Microtech Ultratech). You said there is some wiggle in it(are they all like that?) and that would bother me, so do you think a Benchmade Rukus Auto 6150 would suite me better?

@butterfenco Every OTF knife has some blade play (aka-wiggle) because if there was no play at all the friction would mess with the knifes inner springs and lead to its ultimate demise. This is by no means a exact explanation, there are some more knowledgeable reviewers (I highly recommend NutNFancy) that can explain the reasoning behind this.
stfu if im gonna "stick a knife into somebody's ribcage" its not going to be a show piece, or an automatic ever heard of a fixed blade?fuck for 300+dollars ever heard of a mossberg 500 hahaha...get real..cool knife though!
@wrightybhoy Sure if You want to stab someone a sharpened Screwdriver is actually the best tool :) This is a little bit more sufisticated than "that'll do" mate...
@BihrAnimal Prices have fluctuated over the years, but the current MAP (minimum advertised price set by Microtech) is 225.00 so that is about what you should be seeing them go for.
how much?
pugluver1000 1 year ago
@pugluver1000 Right now, the price on all Ultratech models is $225.00. This is always depending on the price that Microtech sets for us.

Except the part where you stick it into somebody's ribcage and the blade rattles loose, or breaks off.
