If you're looking for jumps powerslides and sheer speed rzr s allll the way...I just recently bought a 2011 rzr s LE and it has done nothing but impress me since I've got it and it's by far the best looking and has a 12.5 ft ground clearance so all in all rzr s is best.
I bought the RZR LE and it is working very well, but I need a couple more inches of ground clearance and a better skid plate. what do you recommend? Thanks
@DocMcCrae Check out our 2011 Project RZR. We run 26" tires, longer Works shocks (but you could just put a mild lift on it), and HCR aluminum skidplates.
I'm buying one for farm use, hunting and trail riding (narrow trails) in the Ozark Mountains. Only thing I can figure is to pull a trailer when need on haul items on the farm. Too bad they don't make a RZR with a longer bed. I'm concerned with two things, underneath protection from of rocks and sticks on the trails. And how deep of water will a stock RZR go through? Thanks
@DocMcCrae High Lifter has a mesh bed extension for the RZR and there are some very good aluminum skids available from several companies - one is HCR.
If all you plan to use the RZR for is hunting I'd suggest something larger. The bed is very small to try to haul anything more than a couple of TeaCup Yorkies (they are Terriers;-)
Absolutely right! We're so very fortunate to have them all sitting here so we can try them all out and compare. (Unfortunately?) our RZR has been sitting in our shop for weeks now while we film the installation of a lift, a couple of exhausts, a winch, top, EFI box, intake system, etc and we haven't had the chance to have any fun with it! Probably get it all done just as winter sets in;-)
im buying the razor for sure and this is exatcly what i tell people man so many people fighting on comments on some videos rhino is better bla bla its what you do
Great comparison, i would probably pick the RZR its more fun and you can do some pretty nice drifts with it since its got a low center of gravity, just love it, but like doug says u need to be sure what ur buying it for.
Hey could you send me a message telling me what one would be best for mudding..i know the rzr will fit through the gates but i live in maine and they dont have those. so i'm asking your opinion on which one would be best for trail riding and handling the bumps best and getting through water and mud..thanks
the rzr would be waaaaaaay better for sand dunes, mud, and all kinds of trails because it's lighter than the rhino wich means that the front won't flip front when going off of jumps, and mud.
Hey man i'm lookin at the rhino & the razor, i'm mostly gonna be useing for sand dunes and hittin the trails every once in a while,i've seen a lot of cool stuff on rhinos but the rzr seems cool, whats your take on what i should buy
As I said in the video, in the end the right choice depends on your figuring out what you'll use it for. And the final decision must obviously be yours and yours alone. And don't forget the Teryx - just to confuse the question even further. For me, I'm gonna hold my breath until Can Am makes a UTV! Doug
The RZR definitely "hauls" but just not the kind you need for work. The RZR can haul 300 pounds in it's "very small for real work items" bed, and it can tow 1500 pounds. Doug
thanks for correcting the towing capacity, i always substitute "tow" with "haul" and i was going off a technicality that it can be a veritile work machine although that wasn't its orignal purpose.
@k2deepblue where do you keep the 13 ft ladder once you get in your rzr ?

@2010mfgc2400 It's probably one of those roll-up rope ladders. Or maybe his girlfriend is named Rapunsel ;-)

@k2deepblue I'm surprised it slides with 12 1/2 feet of ground clearance ;-)

what one whould be the best for crossing deep creeks and can rip around in the mud
MrSledhead88 1 year ago
@MrSledhead88 Probably the Rhino, or better yet the Teryx.
ATVTVCOM 1 year ago
@ATVTVCOM ok thanks out of those two with one chould also be able to hold a big buck in the cargo box
MrSledhead88 1 year ago
@MrSledhead88 Once again it would be the Teryx that could haul a buck out best.

Why was the Tyrex not included in video?

At the time of this video the most asked question we got was, "What's better the RZR or the Rhino?"
ATVTVCOM 2 years ago
which one is better the rhino or the teryx
whiteboy11000 2 years ago
The Teryx is faster, more stable, and less noisy. The EFI on the '09 is a huge improvement over the carb on the '08.

would a rzr fit dogs in the back if they are only terriers and one medium sized dog? And could you go hunting in it?

ya dont listen to them you could do it ... it always has enough power
Perazzi11 2 years ago
@Yamahamotor560 trhink only the terrier could go back, but that is dangerouskeep your dogs in the front seats, and yes it is great for hunting
mifemafia 1 year ago
would a polaris rzr be ok for hunting, i already have the old rhino and take it hunting with a spotlight. Any suggestions?

I totally agree

no one needs a bed.
the rzr does more work then rhino....
rzr pulls 1500 pounds while the rhino pulls 1200 etc.
