  • hi! nice lesson! i was wondering i got a gibson sg standard and a laney tube amp do you hawe any ideas on how getting that bluesy tone? thanks!

  • wow man. youre incredible, really. your intonation, melodic phrasing, and just over all tone is killer. its like a mix of early creamy clapton and duanes searing leads from the allman bros, then some of those trill things with hammer ons and pull offs are like derek trucks. im gonna study these licks like i would duane and erics :)

  • @THEbrassMONKEEZ

  • Killin' it...way to go man.

  • @mclark2fg

    Thank you.

    I am very glad.

  • This is some sick playing, i can feel a lot of Clapton here, but also your own style, great tone and technique, feeling... i think, in the 60s/70s you would be a very, very famous player.

  • @xHefpioTx

  • @sngncwby

    Thank you for the comment.

    Video that explains technique?

Because I am my own style, it doesn't seem to be able to explain well. I'm sorry.

However, it plays it taking care with timing that changes majority and the minor of the pentatonic.

  • @rice3863

  • Some of the best blues tone I've heard from an SG. Your technique is very good too, Beautiful.

  • Hey I am looking to buy a new guitar and I am very back and forth between a 61 sg and a firebird V and I was looking for some advice or your opinion? It would mainly be used for slide guitar (in the style of Duane Allman) but will also see someone blues picking very similar to the video here. Your thoughts? Thank you very much

    P.S. Sweet playing! haha

  • @athack014

    Thank you.

I think that 61Reissue is suitable for the slide play.

I think it is good to perform the blues-rock

  • first time I heard an SG sound so bluesy ! well done, man !

  • Thank you. It is glad to like blues.

  • what amp are you using?

  • The amplifier used by this movie is Marshall MG-15MSZW.

TBO9 of MAXON might have been used.

  • i want that guitar so bad, ,but it's so much money

    and i'm only 13!!!!!!!

  • It is a high shopping. 13-year-old person

However, I also did the part-time job of the paper round at the age of 13 and the drum set was bought.

  • i'm more of a yard work dude, and the winter's not helpin me much

  • that is some of the finest pickin i heard in a long long time

  • Thank you. Mr krudlok!

    The same guitar is used.
