They were visited by Cookie puss, and when Howard told them that he was an ice cream cake, they tried to eat Cookie Puss, and he was like, "Nooooo! Stop iiiiiit!" What really made me laugh was when CP said, "No, no, no! Now you're eating my armpit!"

Carvel was, and still is, the best. We used toget these in Woodlawn all the time, just a few miles from the big factory in Yonkers. Went there last week :-) Bought a few flying saucers and some cherry bonnets, great stuff! RIP Tom

Ha! I didn't know Cookie O'Puss was real. I only remember Fudgie The Whale and Cookie Puss. Cookie O'Puss was mentioned on a Family Guy episode.

A lot of people think this was an east-coast thing, but these ads ran on Phoenix TV all the time in the 70's and 80's. There's a Carvell's store just outside Grand Canyon National Park. And there's a grocery chain out here that sells Carvell ice-cream cakes...sadly Cookie and Fudgie are not available, though.
