Nice speech, but why on earth would you want to add any background music to this - the quality of the original is bad enough already.

I don't understand why people have an inclination to add this new age music to his lectures, as it defeats the whole point. You don't need soothing background music to understand what he means by 'culture is not your friend'. Just think about it for a second...

I've only just discovered terence today on another amazing video and i'm glad there seems to be a wealth of material available which i look forward to exploring, with regard to a previous comment i must say that i first thought " why didn't i discover this unique person before and then i thought, " I probably was not yet ready to hear what he was imparting" and i expect thats the case with many others, but now is the time to really tune to what he's said and i've no doubt more & more people will

The reason why terrence Mckenna appeals to me so much is because his arguements are logical and reasonable if not sometimes a little shocking. He doesn't break the rules of rationality...........except in his prediction for 2012. I can only assume that his brain cancer was already having an effect on his powers of thought when he came up with that. It is so out of sync with everything else he says. It smacks of religion and has absolutely no scientific grounding. I never say never but hey......

I have listened to a vast amount of mckenna and I became very aware straight away that he had no interest in ideologies . All i meant was that if politicians had even an ounce of his well balanced mind and not consumed with greed and political spin then I have no doubt we would be better for it as a whole.

terrence was so grounded and connected to being and the way he articulated his incredible mind was and still is truly amazing ! if only politicians had even a fraction of human compassion and wisdom that he had then the world would certainly be a better place to live .
