I'm having the EXACT same problem, but what makes it worse that my computer is for games, and has a lot of data stored on it, and it's on RAID0, so if i were to buy a new computer, that data may shit out and disappear, too bad for me.
@Pavankumaratti There are several reasons, it could be your MOBO somthing might be burned out. (my currnet PC IS DEAD) and well i replaced it and it worked, try disconnecting eat part and try turning on, make sure u dnt take out CPU OR CPU FAN, if ure MOBO has ONBOARD VIDEIO then take GPU OUT, and when is turns on, u know whats FFED, if not, Most likely ure MOBO, or CPU, what to do it there will be a CPU and a CHIPSET (a smalll heatsink will be ontop) if it is burned then its ure mobo, good luck
This can be your RAM that need to be cleard for dust or so. if thats not the case you can always make a user on HP forum even though its not a hp computer:) there you will find alot of answars and help:) you can also post your own treat there:)

hey my computer screen wont turn on like i will hie the power button on the monitor and it will flash then turn black i dont know how to fix it if u do plz tell me
Hi guys, I also have that problem but I Fixed it. You just need to take the c-mos battery for at least 20 seconds then put it back.. (This problem is for monitor that do not have a signal But the CPU is running) but my problem now , every time i open my PC ill keep on doing that just to open it... T_T
no bad microprocessor, chips or something being replaced. after cleaning and putting things back together, it functioned well back again, the monitor got signal, and the fans were not noisy or stopping anymore. just a simple dusting and placing your computer in an open area, good ventilation around your room/office then it would be fine.
so simple.. i just troubleshooted a desktop pc similarly to this problem. it was due to overheating. i had to open the desktop pc case and cleaned/dusted off because t'was the main reason why most of the PC's overheat whether it's a laptop or a desktop pc. since the monitor had no signal, my concerned was the video card. i took it out, dusted it off and i used a pencil eraser to rub on it's gold edge/part(thats one impt thing to clean the memory cards, pci cards, etc. too).
if the power lid of your monitor lit on green when started then turns to orange after a few seconds, while the cpu is working and all the fans are working.. the problem is the microprocessor,, try to change it.
angelicharisma, I seem to be having a similar problem with my computer. Did you get an answer, a solution to your problem? Please send me a reply, if you can. Thanks.
Sorry to hear your motherboard was busted. Thanks for taking the time to send a reply back to me. Hopefully, I can diagnose my problem and have a quick solution.

Wow, a 3.5 floppy? How old is this machine? I'd say you need a new machine, just on basic principle.
