can you melt lipstick like you would lip balm. so then it would be flat & smooth instead of a big chunk... cause that just annoys me & then it would be awkward to apply. for me :?

ooooo i saw a pill box like that at the dollar store, such a great inexpensive way to have a lip palette.

but, i have a question, does the lipstick get hard and dry up in the pill box? what do you have to do to keep it moist?

This is a great idea, I already have done it to carry my lipsticks to photo shoots and stuff... I stole the idea from another Makeup Artist one day at a show :-p

That was a good idea, I use pill cases to sort my make-up jewels and other stuff. I use to use tackle boxes for make-up cases before I had a train case. I am all about being thrifty and coming up with new ways to use things and save money, it's a good thing.

I wonder if you can rub the letters off with a cotton ball & alcohol then paint your own pictures on there or draw with permanent markers. Sounds like a good idea, thanks for this!! ;)

Oh definitely! And i never thought of using pill boxes for this! I have like 2 and i barely use them... and they are very cute (with kitties printed on the lids). So tomorrow i am so going to do this. And since it's small you can even put it in your purse/bag. Thanks again, loved it ^_^
