But may it also be, you know if that ever happened those guys ran as quick as they could which includes a much abrupt and strong camera movement. For that time, analogical cameras(?), wouldn't them do something like this? Since it was a tape recording, I do believe this could somehow create an effect like this (due to a very abrupt hand movement). Like you can see at F1 cars inside camera for example.
