  • we should sign a petition against the remaking of this film...xD

  • Considering the success of re releases of some movie and add the 3d aspect to it ( wich fit titanic type of film entirely ) and how its been 12 + years and how this movie performed I would not be surprises if this movie can easily hit 500 + mill $ if not more.

  • I'm debating on whether to watch it or not... I just know that no matter how many times I watch it, the very end always makes me cry... If I watch it... I'm bringing at least two boxes of tissues x'D

I LOVE THIS MOVIE THROUGH AND THROUGH <3

  • I'm going to watch this ...I'm going to watch this !!!

  • If any movie deserves to be re-mastered and made into 3D it's Titanic. This sort of movie was made for 3D...it's going to look spectacular. If it would be anything less Cameron wouldn't do it simple as that.

Roll on April my birthday is the 14th assuming the movie is released on the 15th?

  • I HAD MY DAUGHTER IN 1995! I COULDNT SEE IT WITH HER! NOW THIS TIME IM BRINGING MY DAUGHTER TO WATCH THIS AMAZING MOVIE! THANKS YOU JIM JAMERON FOR BRINGING IT BACK SO MY DAUGHTER CAN WATCH THIS ON THE BIG SCREEN!

  • @Paralyzer who's JIM JAMERON??

  • @danmark24 jim jameron? jim cameron, a little spelling misstake :P

  • @Paralyzer yeah I know.. just kidding :PP James Cameron ^_^

  • i cannot hate on this movie just because james cameron isn't exactly a top notch human being because Titanic really embraces our feelings and emotions. This film did something that no other movie will be able to. The acting, special effects, Celine Dion's song....all ingredients of a superb film. Gotta admit I cried watching it and I'm a guy

  • my favorite part wheni saw this in 2005 was 0:21

  • As much as I hate how they're making every movie is in 3D, I will definitely go see this. Titanic is one of the greatest films ever made. Truly amazing. I really can't wait.

  • shoulda just released on 3d bluray why bother a cinema release tickets are to much now :S

  • I wish you had the option to see Titanic at IMAX without 3D, that alone would be great. Converted 3D sucks.

  • i loved titanic

  • I hate romantic films. However, Titanic is exception. Big exception.

  • @shrek228 The Notebook is an exception too.

  • This is probebly the only movie that ever made me cry that much its just sooooo amazing!

  • I bet this movie can make a billion dollars once again!

  • I can't wait for this!

  • Basically he can earn a shit ton of fucking money!

  • I want to shake that man's hand.

  • Can't wait, I can tell its gonna be special this time around in 3D

  • I wonder if this time Cameron would add some scenes to this version. He did say this version would be different. I just hope it's not just because, it's in 3D. But, like all of TRUE TITANIC Fans. I think 17 years is a long wait. For an EXTENDED VERSION of the whole Film. I just hope the Blu-ray won't be a Big Disappointment. I already bought the same Version twice, when it was released on DVD, when it was released as a special Edition. But yet the Deleted Scenes were not in the movie. BLU-RAY...

  • OMG.. I was born with Titanic.. my all day long movie..very valuable to me. I keep watching this movie until now. Jack & Rose the perfect couple eva!

  • u guys are sooo stupid u really think he need money ?? he can do other movies for money like avatar 2 or whatever but titanic is so special If I own this movie hell yea I'll never let it go I will release it over and over again it's his best work and he should be proud of it

  • @LoooBritneyooove Titanic has a lot of good especial efects but script of the movie is only average.

  • @tonidmc If it's average then go write a better one and make millions. What are you waiting for?

  • @yeahdude7 Justin bieber also do millions and millions and is even more simplistic than the love affair script of Titanic....

  • @tonidmc Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare is just as simple yet it's considered a masterpiece of literature. Cameron based the love story between Jack and Rose on Romeo and Juliet. I guess you consider Romeo and Juliet only average too, right?

  • @LoooBritneyooove Second best* Avatar hit all highscores

  • A wish he did the abyss in 3d...

  • @pauligdork he is doing a few of his movies in 3D i believe this one is one of them but i know he is doing the Termanator

  • Damn been 17 years crazy! I don't look older but feel older if you know what I mean lol! I still think we are behind in the future still no flying cars, no time travel, no hydrating pizza, no hologram tv, no hoverboard, no power laces officially released from nike, etc hmm I wonder perhaps 10 years from now or 5?

  • I took my grandmother to see this in the cinema in 1997, it was the first and only film she saw in cimema and it blow her mind. I can't imagine how she would have acted if she had got to see it first in 3D.

  • i was never able to view titanic in the theater since i was only a baby but i along with many people my age cant wait to view it this way

  • its just a film :P

  • can't wait for this, yeah kicks it up to the whole new level

  • fyi this isn about james cameron , this is about titanic. the movie itself is about love and how much it means to be in love. and the heartbreak that happened almost 100 years ago.. its a tragic story of how human technology failed us and we all suffer from it, even today. Cameron is a great director, hes many who envision a film for a masterpiece not the money. he spent most his life researching titanic. 3D will be awesome, we cant go see the titanic in person this is the next best thing

  • 2012 TITANIC BACK ON TOP! HELL TO THE YES!!!

  • dumbass!! it was a little over 1500 people that died.

  • I'm not being funny here, but if this breaks records again when it comes out next year, and beats The Dark Knight Rises. Then i'm going to go fucking crazy. Titanic had it's shot in the spotlight. 2012 is Christopher Nolans year. It has to be. I'll watch batman as much as i can to help it break records.

  • I hope it gets mutch, mutch more succes than that avatarshit

  • i'm sorry to say this but... am i REALLY the only one that thinks james cameron is a shitty regisseur? i mean come on... titanic was based on an actual story

terminator was the crappiest shit ever made and avatar had a shitty story with some delicious visuals...

  • I think this will improve the movie a lot as Cameron said and plus it will be a very very grate 3D movie and will be one of the top 3D movies ever!

  • If you are wondering, yes this is a good date movie.

  • @syafiqjabar hell no... they always start crying... -__-

  • Titanic 3D will make more money than all of 2012 releases combined! I will be there on day 1 to contribute.

  • Wait a second? The same movie, but with unnecessary 3D? Shut up and take my money!!!

  • @kietasss

Wait till you hear how much people hated sound and colour in their movies. And how people hated movies before that.

  • He's looking a bit thin...hope he's o.k.

  • @matrixyoda

now that you mention it. Well, let´s hope it´s because of stress releasing Titanic next year plus the production of Avatar 2&3 and that he will recover and enjoy the success of all 3 projects he is working on at the moment.

  • This is not about money! James Cameron is super rich!! This is a labor of love for him!

  • its about love...and life... and butterflies... and money... and hope... and passion... and more fucking money... and sacrifice... and did i mention MONEY?!

    $_$

  • Number one moneymaker in Hollywood! James Cameron!

  • Yeah yeah, this is probably just another excuse for mor money, but really who cares? The movie is amazing so why even bother complaining about the re-release, people are eitherjealous or they don't like the movie. If you don't want it to make mor money, then don't see it in the theatres...

  • Looks great! Cannot wait to relive the magic again...truly a classic...

  • making money AGAIN.............

  • James Cameron is at the very pinnacle of 3D movies. I for one am sick of the shoddy work that has been done on most recent 3D movies, filmed or converted. However, after seeing the incredible work Cameron did on AVATAR,I have to say I have high hopes for this conversion of the movie. And I for one will definately check this out next April.

  • Ohh. This takes me back.

  • both top comments are trolling

  • its been 5 year in the makeing to put this film in 3D i am happy and what not but to me i say stick with the 2D bluray version james and get it out to the public because i just want to se and hear this film on bluray.

  • CAN'T WAIT !!! :) I LOVE TITANIC

  • CAN'T WAIT !!! :)

  • Might be nice, Titanic is one of my favorite movies, I wasn't a big fan of Avatar. Its just Pocahontas with blue ppl! Lol

  • @Videogenius7 agreed :D

  • @Videogenius7 Then you missed pretty much what the whole movie was all about..

  • That man is Genius !!!!

  • when was this interview recorded? would be nice of you to answer ClevverMovies :)

  • Why not use the money to make a better movie that's original? This wont be at the top of my list to watch, seen it so many times already I'm bored of it

  • He's going to use the money he earns from Titanic 3D to make more hippie Avatar nonsense, just wait and see. He's not done Alien-tree-hugging yet.

  • "And that is why I'm not working on another sequel of the Terminator franchise, or Alien, because I'm trying to convert my old movies into 3D, and have it tour the theater for another round. And there's a crappy, hippie franchise I'm working on to bringing more sequels into. It's Avatar, friendly to general public, but spitefully retarded to the other franchise's cult follower, expect more from it soon: Avatar 2: Not Dead Yet." The blue fuckers.

  • Fuk titanic please work on avatar

  • @krninusa he said 2 is done and 3 is filming right now

  • @krninusa Avatar sucks compared to Titanic

  • 1st time I saw a naked girl was cuz of this film (Y)... good old times

  • How much 3D can you put into this movie???

  • waiting desperately

  • I'm just so beyond excited to see this on the big screen again. I was only 7 when it came out so I've grown up with this movie watching it countless times. To experience on the big screen being older now and fully understanding things, having more life experience to understand, it's just going to be amazing.

  • @playyaplay I remember seeing it on the big screen in Escondido, California when it came out. I was on vacation with my parents at the time. I don't think I had the same appreciation for it at the time that I do now.

  • @TheSoberIrishman21 Exactly. That's why I'm so excited for it to be re-released.

  • I want to see it even it means that I will be in the theater for 4 hours.

  • will the drawning scene be in 3D as well?

  • "Titanic always has something for you no matter what your age." No duh, BOOBS!

  • So let me get this straight, 100 years anniversary of 7000 people dying, means more money for James Cameron? Gimme a break!

  • @ShreyanHota why can't people just accept that James Cameron actually cares about film making and isn't always thinking about money? A director doesn't forfit his share of his movie's profit so that the film studio doesn't force him to shorten it because he just cares about money. The man loves making movies. Deal with it. Titanic is responsible for propelling the Titanic story into the modern world - let it be.

  • @ShreyanHota He re-release his film duh....

  • @ShreyanHota no, it's an anniversary of the SAILING of the ship, which was a glorious moment for lots of people, even though it ended up sinking. Also, it's also a way to commemorate the lives of the thousands of people who died during the maiden voyage of Titanic

  • @ShreyanHota dude be respectful and get your facts right

    1 1,500 dies

2 it was a great movie

3 it honors those who died on titanic

  • @ShreyanHota a real dishonour to those 1,500 who died would have been to forget them, titanic put people in the position of the passengers like no other movie ever has done, the word titanic was used years after to describe an awful situation and the film gave more of a heart to the story, as they say one lost life is a tradgedy..any more is just a statistic, the film brought real honour to those who died, it ensured they would never be forgotten, even milvina dean said so...the last survivor.

  • @ShreyanHota I think alot of people know remember Titanic from the movie. Without the movie not alot of people would know what happened 100 years ago. So i think it's a good thng that people didn't forget it and still remember what happened 100 years ago!

  • @ShreyanHota Hahaha. Yeah. But, I don't care, and It was only 1,500 people who died.

  • @ShreyanHota 7000?????

  • @ShreyanHota 1500 people died that night

  • 1598 to be exact.

  • @ShreyanHota u see how old this guy is... im pretty sure he doesnt have that much longer to live.. not to sound harsh... but im just saying. im pretty sure hes not doin it for the MONEY!! Just SHUT UP and be AMAZED wen it comes out!! OK !!

  • im a sucker for this film :) so yes i will spend 25 dollars and 4 hours watching this :D screw the haters he isnt forcing you to watch it

  • You guys are forgetting that no one is forcing you to watch it in 3D if you don't want to watch it fine no ones gonna force you.

  • If you want to do a 3rd about sinking ships .. why not shoot RMS Lusitania.

  • Sorry .. but no thanks Mr.Cameron, you're not gonna cheat me out of my money with this 3d bullshit.

  • Im sorry but I am not spending 4 hours in a movie theater...

  • i can not wait for this its gonna be amazing. hail james cameron

  • I loved Titanic.. but again!!!!???? I rather to see something new!
