The FED ran the economy through interest rate manipulation and leverage extension to the tune of 40 to 1. That is not free market capitalism. That is government run and government controlled planning.

Then when it fails we blame republicans and free market people by saying there wasnt enough regulation.

It's encouraging to see both candidates finally getting attention from the Republican party. As "da324" said, Ron Paul had nothing to do with the blimp. We, his supporters, work very independent from his official campaign. If you believe in less government, a free market, and unrestricted capitalism, please continue to support Ron and Rand Paul, Peter Schiff, Adam Kokesh, and Mike Vasovski. We need to see a return to constitutional government, and only these men can make this happen.

Ron & Rand Paul as well as Peter Schiff should be the foundation for a new wing of the party. And I think it should be appropriately named the Revolution Wing. Just as in the old revolution we fought a government that was overspending and overtaxing, we carry on the fight.

I think the people need to gather around a label, as well as a message. This mass tea-party environment would provide a groundswell of support for these guys. Of course, they would have to initiate it.

The blimp idea came from Ron Paul supporters, and was funded by Ron Paul supporters to an independent company that owned the blimp. Like almost everything else in the Ron Paul campaign, it was grass roots from start to finish.
