they did this in st.louis when they came a few days back, only it was different, they did it kind of funnier the way they did it when i went, taylor put up three fingers and dave grohl looked like he was gettin mad.lol great show!
next on the cards for them is a greatest hits album, so if they do a world tour for that they might be back next year or so, other than that i'm not sure
the setlist was: let it die, pretender, times like these, breakout, learn to fly, cheer up boys, this is a call, stacked actors, skin & bones, marigold, my hero, cold day, but honestly, beaconsfield, everlong, monkey wrench, all my life, big me, long road & best of you =)
I was at the 1st show, the same skit at the first show was a lot more explicit, full of giving us the finger and mouthing "no! fuck you!" in a joking way, it was hilarious... he also scrolled down the setlist to show us the encore bt he'd put duck-tape over the encore songs. hahaha. Wish someone would post it from the 1st Melbourne show!!!
but then again, we only got 3 songs in our encore! But a different setlist, different order of tracks, and i think we had more songs before encore. All evens out in the end!
i got a setlist from both nights, all the songs were in the same order both nights except the second night had See You added to the acoustic section and Generator in the encore. i love both those songs to death, but i think i enjoyed the first show a tiny bit more.
Loved this part of the show. Few people in rock these days embrace the humour that Dave Grohl brings to a show without being cheesy. I think you were only a few metres in front of me Bec.
that was the funnies bit of the show. haha. It was great. I loved it when they walked back out and the whole GA have all put their hands and fingers up to say ten! haha. that was an awesome view from where I was.
oh my god, that fucking hilarious! Those guys are funny
