  • 2:43-3:31 Okay, that's the only deleted scene that's really funny.

  • "WARNING... Hijacking is a federal offense."

  • That siren really makes me crack up when that guy gets arrested for saying hi Jack

  • This kid reminds me of the trololol guy !

  • Damn, how did they do this movie without totally cracking up.... I'm in tears, the whole time. haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • bettter help these people before the shit hits the fan LOL

  • "But my friends call me Bubbles"....LOLOLOLOL

  • A deleted scene, what is it?

  • @zizwop It's a scene that wasn't included in the final cut of the film, but that's not important right now.

  • @jbs901 Damn! You got to it before I could! I must say I'm kinda disappointed that he posted that over a month ago and it took weeks for a response. That was a nice set up.

  • bubbles!!!

  • they should've left the water-cooler scene in LMFAO

  • Today that simple joke ... Hi...Jack! Will get you put in a dark room somewhere never to be heard from again.

  • poor kids, they had to learn all that crap and their scene was deleted :) they must have been sad about it :)

  • @SkaffBear Actually some of these deleted scenes, including the one with the little kids, were shown on network and cable TV. I never get the part about Oveur and Roger looking at the propellers though.

  • Hi Jack :o

    BURRP :o

  • My friends call me bubbles...

  • AAAAAAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, HI-Jack!!!!

  • love the kids! lol

  • @myaddressis Why? They're shit. You idiot.

  • @vymmas oh good one im an idiot for having a sense of humor. you must be a little cunt who likes starting fights. keep up the good work schmuck:)

  • @myaddressis Nope i'm not a little cunt and i have a sense of humour. I love the film Airplane, but the segment with the kids is extremely unfunny. Fool

  • last one rocks xD

  • LOved airplane but I still enjoyed their original movie Kentucky Fried Movie much more.

  • If you are a Airplane fan you have to watch the old old movie Zero Hour, it is the same script, litterally with very few changes. The lines just got Nielson-ed. I watched Zero Hour and laughed my ass off when I realized what Airplane was poking fun at.

p.s I can help but think that the deleted scene with the kids is from some other movie.

  • No wonder they were deleted.

  • @celt67 LOL

  • LOL! Heading 2999?

  • I recall seeing, at the end of Airplane II on VHS, the last credit that rolled said, "coming soon, Airplane III" Anyone see that?

  • @KimmyTrammell Yep - sequel advertising was very popular on early VHS.

  • @VWVVWVVWV Yeah, just like History of the World Part 2.

  • @KimmyTrammell "Airplane II" sucked sooooooo bad, they decided to cut their losses...

  • @KimmyTrammell

That was done more or less as a joke. I think the producers probably knew the second one was not going to be as successful as the first. I don't imagine it would have been great myself.

  • @KimmyTrammell Yes, that was in the theatrical version, too, I remember! We're still waiting for Airplane III!

  • They should have shown the mountain of plastic cups lying on the floor at the end.. XD

  • I've actually never seen these.

Probably because I've only seen the TV version.

  • How are these "deleted scenes"? "Deleted scenes" means they never made it into the movie in the first place.

  • @radconserv86 Deleted from the theatrical cut, genius.

  • @VWVVWVVWV Surely, you can't be serious!

  • hahahahhaha...

    genius

  • @VWVVWVVWV that's what radconserv86 meant, brainiac. (hey, this is fun)

  • @evelsteev Braniac, genius, we're all morons on this frakking planet.

  • @evelsteev LOL!!!!

  • "Hi jack!" ^_^

  • kareem abdul jabaarrr

  • @Christusolus No, that's Roger Murdock, he's the co-pilot.

  • I've seen foam tear a man's guts out!

  • The mountains Ted, the mountains.

    What mountains.....we're over Iowa.

why'd they cut that out, iowa haters...lol

  • ive seen this on tv xD

  • @Karmitsu072 Yes, that's why in the description I say its from the TV edit.

  • @VWVVWVVWV

lol im aware, im sayin i actually saw it on tv

  • lol wodden meatal detector roflmao

  • Awww....those kids should have stayed in.

"But my friends call me Bubbles." :)

  • Hijack! :D

  • @mrsmodest oohhhhhhh haha wow

  • Really? Two thumbs down? What the hell for???

  • @VWVVWVVWV lol 3

  • i dont get the first scene???

  • @Breslin10 It didn't show it all. Two more engines start up and the pilots get confused over the extra engines starting.

  • @qazxsw21000 i mean the scene before that one

  • @Breslin10 did you read the sign behind the couple?

  • @qazxsw21000 yeah i just dont see how standing next to that sign makes him get arrested for being a hijacker

  • @Breslin10 is it saying theres something in his bag?

  • @Breslin10 Maybe the producers/writers/directors realized it didn't make much sense and that's why it was removed from the final cut.

  • @qazxsw21000 i see the potential to be funny. just a lost joke

  • @Breslin10 Yea. I just wish the other deleted scenes was included in the movie.

  • @Breslin10

It didn't have anything to do with the sign. That was there to set the "joke" up for the audience.

The man was arrested when he said "Hi Jack". This still doesn't make any sense which is probably why it was cut.

  • The water cooler X-)

  • Thank you for putting this on here.

It's like finding a lost gem to a treasure.

  • I love the two kids together, they're so cute ! ^^

  • I love the two kids together, they're so cute ! ^^

  • god i love this movie its the funniest movie ever

  • @VWVVWVVWV Actually, they cut that line when Airplane was shown on one of the broadcast channels. Why, I will never know, or is it because Hollywood tends to be retarded.

  • The corn fields Ted, the corn fields! Marvelous.

  • @BIackMoonCGI XD I know I love that line too. XD!!

  • LoL...Hi Jack !! :D

  • @HartRaver Yeah I recently heard another comedian said that too in a stand up routine. He said that it would be a bad idea if a pilot/captain's name was Jack and his co-pilot said 'Hi Jack' and he was arrested suddenly.

  • @csgrambauer, I love that scene.

  • ...but my friends call me Bubbles.

  • @tommykl Lol awww yeah that was cute.

  • The should have left in the "niners," but the rest belonged on the cutting room floor.

  • A propellor sound effect for a jet! I LOVE IT!

  • @monsta64 that's a gag in the entire movie

  • love this! best film ever

  • @VWVVWVVWV

Lol yeah sorry i just saw the scene with the 2 kids and thought PC madness had struck again before i finished watching it :D

  • Airplane! [and the sequel] predicted a lot of the TSA / airport security madness we face today, it seems.

  • @travelsonic I REMEMBER KIDS WERE ALLOWED TO GO INTO COCKPITS- THEN TO SEE THE FLIGHT CREW- I REMEMBER THAT ON A EASTERN FLIGHT.

    TODAY??-

  • @moneybelt22 You know why, right? When you're being asked questions about gladiator movies or what it is like being in a Turkish prison, well...now you know.

  • That was EPIC! i loved it. the weird thing is that i have a video very similar to this!!!!

  • @VWVVWVVWV Yeah, I hear ye, some people just remember what they want to remember and read what they want to read...

  • I distinctly remember seeing both the "Hi, Jack!" and watercooler scenes in the theater.

  • ok they didnt say that.... um why were they cut?

  • "Black like my men" has been cut from the dvd? are you serious? well they lost a sale then!

  • @danman7410 no it isn't i just watched aiplane on dvd last night

  • STRIKER! THE MOUTAINS!

    we're in Iowa!

    oh...

    LOOKOUT FOR THE CORNFIELDS!

lol, how did that miss the cut? And the final scene was pretty funny too

  • @VWVVWVVWV I think he means the special edition DVD. I've seen the water cooler scene before. You have to select the feature where it turns on these logos that randomly pop up while you're watching the movie. Whenever the airline logo pops up, you hit enter and it plays either a deleted scene or some behind the scenes interview.

  • I can see why these scenes were deleted. They were not funny at all.

  • @tudzman Just another little prick looking for a rise eh!

  • that little boy @ 0:40 use to be on what's happening wit dee.

  • Damn, that last segment with the two boobs talking things out by the water cooler had me rolling. I can't believe they cut that short gem from the final product. Seriously, laughing out loud here! Thanks for posting this, I would have never seen it!

  • The "Hi, Jack!" bit was hillarious.

  • One scene I've never seen anywhere... Before the film was released, there was a blurb in a showbiz column in the Chicago Tribune that mentioned Jose Feliciano was going to play a pilot for Polish Airlines in the film. Of course, it wasn't in the finished film, the TV edit OR the DVD. The scene does show up in an early version of the script I've seen, but was it filmed?

  • Those two little kids talking like grown-ups and drinking coffee was hilarious but it was a little bit too long.

  • @szqsk8 Way too long for me personally.

  • LOL the guy drops the cup!

  • Fortunately some of these have been put back in the DVD version, though most are still cut.

  • "The cornfields Ted! The cornfields!"

  • @VWVVWVVWV thats probably their to add to the humour

  • 2 niner niner ... niner ... uh ... niner.

  • Only the last one really works and it went on a little too much. They did the right thing taking them out because I can't remember a single bum note in the general release version.

  • '' HI..JACK '' LOL

  • In the last scene the guy on the left didn't get any water after the first few..

  • No it wasn't have watched this film 30 or 40 times

  • but my friends call me bubbles. lmao

  • @VWVVWVVWV Agreed. Never saw it in the original release, but, it was funny as heck. Very prophetic as well as there are sings in airports that warn against cracking a joke along those lines.

  • LOL, that last scene should have been in the movie. I loved it.

  • I've seen this movie so many times, I practically know it by heart... none of those scenes were in the version of the movie that is on DVD. But I could swear I saw the hijack scene before -- I wonder if it was in the theater version?

  • I see why the scene with the kids was cut -- it wasn't crazy funny, just odd -- but I think those kids did a pretty good job.

  • I've seen Airplane! countless times and have never seen any of those scenes.

  • Comment removed

  • The scene at 0:21 ("Hi, Jack!") was MOST DEFINITELY in the original movie!

  • @tripjet999 No, the 'Hi Jack!" was neither in the original or the sequel.

  • I've never seen these scenes before, thank you!!

  • Robert Stack isn't actually drinking any water :(

  • These are still in the movie! LOL

  • Do you have any idea where to find the deleted scene from Airplane 2?

The one with Steve McCroskey in a mental hospital?

  • I did see this on the TV edited version once!

  • Thanks for this clip. When I bought the DVD , I was disapointed that even the "deleted scenes" chapter lacked many of those scenes. The scenes with the kids acting as adults and discussing their adult jobs was a good satire of all the airport movies.

Many of those scenes are part of what makes Airplane !!! a classic.

  • Hey Thanks for this. I bought the special edition DVD and was disapoinsted many of those were not included in thart DVD's "deleted" scenes.

I love the one where they are at the water cooler. And when the kids talk about their jobs. I think the "Hi Jack" has more relevance today than in the 1980s since 9-11,

  • the kids ruled

  • the last scene was hiarius

  • Damn, I love this flick !!

  • "Hi Jack!" LOL

  • HI JACK!!!!!

  • Yea, I can remember this playing on free TV and not on Cable. Some of them are dumb throw aways and were better off on the cutting room floor. A few of them are decent enough though. I like how Roger says he's the co-pilot, and then precedes to show he knows nothing, and while I wouldn't call the kids dialogue funny, it is kind of both poignantat and thought provoking, especially considering that two kids are saying it, so i guess it's kind of funny in a slight amusing way. Just not very.

  • I read the scenes were edited out to make room for the old lady who does cocaine and one other scene. I heard it was a timing issue for the DVD.

  • I'm not surprised these scenes were deleted, since only the last one of them is at all funny. The exchange between the little boy and the girl was best cut off with the "I take it black, like my men" remark; these additional scenes don't add anything to the gag and merely tend to weaken it.

  • @weikko79 I was going to say the same thing.

  • look i dont got this in my DVD but im 100% sure i saw this B4

  • y r they deleted

  • I assumed these scenes were cut from the DVD Don't Call Me Shirley Special Edition, released AFTER 9/11. I see my mistake was I didn't read the accompanying text as well as I thought, it mentioned the TV version. It's a big leap on your part however to assume anyone wouldn't know this was a 30 year old movie. It's been one of my favorites since way back when I was a kid.

  • "Hijack" must have been removed because of 9/11. Sad, because it's a funny bit.

  • @Deciheximal Airplane was made in 1980 - over 20 years before 9/11 you idiot
