Wow, that was bad. I was hoping that with some regular use, her voice would start coming back....but it's not. That one was just as bad as the beginning of the tour.

If you think this was a good show, you simply never saw this woman when she really could sing. Look up her performance of this song on the VH1 Divas show and compare it....it's like night and day. Crack really does kill....your voice.

@Pacfanweb if you listen to her words she clearly states that before the body guard era it was light duing the bodyguard era and after that it go heavy. all cocaine will do to the vocal chords is dry them, meaning that they would need to be hydrated very very well during performances. the damage came from not using the vocal chords any more your right, the drugs just hindered her from singing consistently

Couple of thoughts: One, I don't know that I believe what Whitney says. She's an addict, and one of the main thing addicts do very well is lie.

Next, all I know is I've heard and read several times that coke will kill your voice. I specifically remember an interview with Axl Rose where he stated that "if he did a line of coke, it took his voice out for about a week".

However it got this way, her voice is gone. I was hoping it would come back with regular use.

@Pacfanweb there is no proof to say that whitney houston is an addict she once was i believe that but i do not believe she is one now, you only have whitney houston to listen to as it is her speaking. cocaine will not kill your voice at all like i said to you it will cause the cause the v.muscles to become very dry, any singer who can keep properly hydrated and take drugs at the same time will be fine. alcohol has the same affect. her voice hasnt gone, the wrong techniques are being used.

@darix10 mi dispiace smontartelo ma la sua voce non tornerà mai definitivamente.. non sai quanto mi dispiaccia la seguo da quando sono nata. Ma purtroppo gli alti nonriesce più a sostenerli, e non si tratta di problemi di tecinca ma è la droga che gli ha usurato la voce, infatti si nota che la voce negli alti si "sporca" anche io continuo a illudermi che tornerà come prima, ma dubito, ma ciò nonostante continuerò sempre a seguirla!!!<3

@gretolucciola Che la sua voce non tornerà mai come una volta è verissimo! Non è vero, a Roma la voce era assolutamente limpida e potentissima all'inizio, deve capire e studiare per conservare la voce durante l'arco del concerto!
