I do like the work and the image of william Sheller even if he's less present now on TV but my choice is the dan the automator version far from the seventies bad aspects (return to reality after the artificial paradise).
man, all those idiots that think this piece of music is made by deltron are a clear sign that humanity's IQ has dropped considderably. It is a classic piece by a French atist named William Sheller. Not by that tunethiefing deltron.
@Frankydoesitalso It would actually be Dan the Automator who is the "tunethiefing" one, if you wanted to be so ignorant as to call him that. This is indeed an incredible piece of music, as is the song Del and Dan used it to make. If they hadn't sampled this beautiful song many of us would never have heard of William Sheller. Props to all of them, especially Sheller.
@rubbersoultrain I gotta agree with Rubeersoultrain man. I love Deltron and I am overly passionate about hip-hop, but you don't call them tune-thiefing man. Hip-hop artists ae some of the people who have the most respect and love for all music. The fact Deltron chose this peice for a post-apocolyptic rap opera is a nod of respect towards Sheller. It's their way of sayin' "Yo, this tune is the shit." And definately, it's things like this, like it or not, that get Shelle noticed...
...because even us hip-hop heads constantly look for inspiration and new music, and I can guarrentee you because of Deltron, i'm getting ALL of Sheller's shit.
@Frankydoesitalso there's a little bit more to it than that. artists have always inspired other artists. the practice of sampling (or "tunethiefing" if you prefer) in music traces back to early classical composers. i actually like it when great music by one artist inspires another artist to create more great music. but if you prefer to retain your narrow view of music be my guest.
I gotta give huge respect to the musicians that made this, cause after hearing this sample it's clear that literally everything awesome about the 3030 beat is because this track is awesome (not that i don't love 3030 anyways).
