The only reason for killing Osama bin Laden was he would have spoken too much at the court. And probably they didn't have enough evidence of him being guilty, can you imagine Bin Laden being declared 'not guilty' after everything they've said and done?

I don't feel as bad for the killing of major terrorist threats. It's a way of preventing the problem on the short time watch of presidents. It's an extremely small fraction of would be terrorists, they can't project more strategy, and it's much better than invading a country. It's not the best solution but I wouldn't want to see all these ring leader terrorists get captured and then not be put on trial until a Rick Perry administration.
