OK, random question Why do you have velcro on your blasters? I havebeen in 5 HvZ games & as a result modded the snot out of my primary weapons & have never heard of any benefit of velcro. Is it something I should look into?
Also, did you ever make any headway reversing admins decision to shut your chapter down?
@DesolateSeraphim -- I have a Nerf harness that carries my "grenades" and Nerf blasters. They stick to the harness with velcro for a quicker release than holstering the blasters. When you run into a thick group of Zombies, it is sometimes better to just whip out another blaster, than try and reload.
@time4adate How well did that work for you? I guess i just never figured velcro would be strong enough to hold up a Scout or a Recon whilst running at full tilt. Let alone a Maverick or Barrel Break. I ended up paying one of the theater girls down in the costume shop to make me a few holsters out of canvas. I refuse to wear cardboard & duct tape, call me crazy.
@jammiebobthesecond haha. Yes it is a game, but not a virtual game. It is a live simulation on campus. It is pretty sweet. About 100 people on campus use their imagination within the structure of rules of the game. We run around chasing each other with nerf blasters and such, day and night for about a week.
Honestly, I'm so sick of people who start playing HVZ and don't know the first thing about it. People start playing and think that they can do whatever the hell they want! That they can make their own rules and not listen to those of us who have played before. Not to mention the people who would get tagged and then try to lie and say they hadn't. Or those who would quit playing the game when they get turned. This game is not for pussies! It's for people who want to have fun and follow the rules!
@ ambitionsofphoenix i'm sorry this guy is an actor i know quite a lot of people say he's a prick and wants to do it "his way" which is the wrong way and fucked everyone on the final mission because he was a chicken of the 5 zombies and cost the entire game. My two friends were the last two humans and didn't make it off campus because of this guy.
@ksucountrygirl13 That's not quite accurate. Yes, I did screw up the final mission for the humans, but there is no where in the rules that said I have to protect everyone. Granted, it is a good idea to work together, and it is kind of a jerk move to do my own thing. I actually know of three humans that lasted longer than your friend and you.
@time4adate they were the last two, they teamed up and was trying to get off campus near anderson but were caught by zombies. I was a zombie the mission before but I didn't go to final mission because studying I had to do for a test that I really needed to do good on.
@ksucountrygirl13 Wait a minute, are we talking about the same thing? The final mission fall '09 ended with everyone at the engineering building. I was there. Myself and three friends were the last humans standing What were your friends doing over by anderson?
@time4adate lol i was talking about this video made last spring. Now this last game I couldn't play it because I rolled my ankle while chasing a human. That happened after Old Stadium mission and a few of us were still amped about the mission since no one on the afternoon time knocked out all of the zombies even with that mass group of 30 some humans with the "black-op" group or whatever they called theirselves
@ksucountrygirl13 haha. Oh, yeah, we got destroyed last spring. I didn't make it to many of the missions that time, because they all seemed like suicide, and there wasn't many humans that were actually participating. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't me that flubbed up that final mission. I was just following orders, and the orders led us to our death.
