@myqueensindel they didn't build it because Chyna refused to put lita over and put out offense in any matches.She also refused to drop the championship to lita and they actually had an argument about it b/c creative wanted chyna to drop the title to lita, who was red hot and VERY popular at the time. If you watch the match (which was Chyna's last with the WWE) it was bad primarily b/c Lita who was still new had to carry Chyna for most of it & she refused to let Lita do any of her signature moves

@demolitapower That's not true. Both parties stated that Chyna WANTED to drop the title, but Lita didn't want to win the title from Chyna in their first match. Chyna has said countless times in interviews that Lita didn't want to win the title from her. It was Lita's decision not to win the belt at that time, not Chyna's.

@demolitapower You cant have Lita winning against Chyna knowing that she was Intercontinental champ. That means that Lita couldve won that belt to. But that match between Chyna and Lita, in my eyes, is one of the greatest female matches in history. 2 of the most popular going at it. You dont see that these days.

@jungle10ful but the fact remains that the longterm outcome for the feud was meant to be Lita going over Chyna. The only reason why it didn't happen was because Chyna couldn't come to terms for a new contract. I agree, from a booking perspective that win would make little sense because then Lita could go for the IC Title but WWF booked THEMSELVES into a corner by doing that they honestly should never have dropped Chyna from the men's division, but they did it b/c of politics

@almunia99 The Diva's division hasn't been respectable since Wendy Richter. The women have all just been objectified because they have tits. The attitude era had better female "athletes" so to speak, but WWE hasn't treated the women's division properly in years.
