  • i could not believe kid rock did that.man i use to rock that with my cousin and we would howl out the window back in the1970s after smoking weed.this is why we need more writers of good music.r.i.p.warren z.

  • You know, I once saw a werewolf drinkin' a pina colada at Trader Vic's and his hair was perfect.

  • @Musicvidsetc Hehehe , Warren Zevon, I like that song :)

  • @Unabomber2 and fuck the Kid Rock !!!!!! Warren Zevon is orginal

  • @cstoczyn Stop the spamming (please!)

  • @bawbaw222 WELL, I'M SORRY!!!!

CAN YOU JUST PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!!!

  • OMG!

  • LOL

  • BOO!!!!

  • Happy Halloween!!!!

  • So great;) Love the movies from 1920 - 1950 they are the best! (at least the horror movies!)

  • At lest it's not Bronson Cave

  • i find wilfred's work facinating, no wonder he wants to get back to work instead of meeting his dumb old relitives. his wife is such a bore chatting and gossiping with people. man if i was his wife i would go out at night and sale the oceans. how could we woman stand around gossiping when woman should have been finding adventure and traveling. nooo live it up to the man. it really makes woman look bad. we are not just sex objects! we are strong

  • the script fof this movie was written in 1933..it was to be a vehicle for BORIS KARLOFF, but that plan was lost in the shuffle..so in 35 HENRY HULL, got the part..he wanted no part of horror films after this movie..

  • I saw this movie when I was a child back in the 50's. That evening after going to bed, i pulled the covers over my head. After some time, I had to face the dark and my fears because it was so hot under the covers. Now I see how great and simply made this movie is. It is truely a treasure. I have a copy on vhs and I still watch it every now and then. I am now a amateur botanist and am now searching for the infamous "maraphasa lupina lumino".

  • I still can not watch this film at night!

The music makes my skin crawl.

  • The executive producer of the film Stanley M. Bergerman was the son-in-law of Carl Laemmle, president of Universal Pictures. Stan married Carl's daughter Rosabelle. He lived a long life of almost 95 years. The old saying less is more is certainly applicable to this film. Hulls makeup is minimal as compared to Lon Chaney Jr's in The Wolf Man......and is IMHO more believable. Yes we all know Hulls aversion to sitting for hours in Jack Pierces makeup chair, but in the end the effect works

  • @1912Universal Good and interesting history of the film and its making. Less really is more. This is the first scary movie I saw as a girl. Latter movies can bring as much gore as they want but this is chilling, well-acting and to be honest, to me the scariest movie I have ever seen. Strange but true. Thanks!

  • I think it was better that Hull insisted on the minimalist makeup for this film. It shows the qualities of human and animal combined...

  • Perhaps in 1935 they couldn't afford to actually film in Tibet. Go Figure!

  • @incrediblehulkmovies The "Tibetans" are speaking a dialect of Chinese only spioken in the tropical South, as far from Tibet as you can get.

  • Funny, Tibet looks a lot like California :)

  • @leftcoast67 You're right. It's the San Fernando Valley with rented camels!

  • @leftcoast67 You're right. It's the San Fernando Valley with rented camels! Interesting how this film was made. Universal was miffed that 20th Century Fox beat them to it by making "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," so they needed a similar story. Hence the werewolf. The original make-up was similar to Lon Channey's in "The Wolf Man," but Hull hated it--said it prevented him from acting. So he designed a lighten make-up, thereby miffing make-up artist Jack Pierce.

  • @uranian99 the scene was also used in an episode of Star Trek.

  • @han9151 What's The Name Of The Episode?

  • heh, everybody-universal is blocking this from being seen--and alltheir other great films...guess we need to buy the films to view, oh well. Sucks!!

  • Oh what a cute dog! I want one!

  • I LOVE this movie! Thank you SO much for posting!!!

  • I have such a soft spot for this film. :)

  • i LOVE this incredible music! x0]

  • Hmm. If it were me and I saw some creep peering at me from behind a rock, I don't think I'd go toward it unarmed. I'm with 987, this movie scared the hell out of me as a kid. The Wolf-Man never bothered me very much, but something about this particular werewolf make up job always gave me the creeps.

  • I am so glad there are people who are not as afraid of this as I am. I saw this as a child and swore I would turn into a werewolf (no particular reason, I wasn't bitten by a thing). But I remember reading in the encyclopedia that it was a curse in some European countries and from then on, I was always too afraid to watch. I'm so much older now and I'm alone today. I probably won't finish but I do want to......I guess I still should say thank you. : (

  • Will someone please explain the werewolf's actions on 6:14? It's hilarious!

  • FINALLY!! thanks for uploading the video I was dying to get it!! :D

  • I didn't know that the Metrons had sent Captain Kirk and the Gorn to Tibet.

  • Why do people complain about Henry Hull's werewolf makeup? It's no different from Jack Nicholson's in Wolf.

  • this is unrelated to the movie...but the new html5 player wont let me rewind or skip forward, is everybody else having the same problem?

  • I love this movie and have it on DVD along with The Wolf Man. Both are classics.

  • I have been looking for this video EVERYWHERE! Thanks!

  • @Vanoc93 Are you in the Philippines? There seems to be a lack of classic movies here, except for The Sound of Music.

  • @MORKOS621 no, I'm not.

  • @Vanoc93 Then, keep looking. You'll find a copy. As for me, I'll just watch it on Youtube.
