it depends would like to be patient or you want to go fast but have less fun, if you want to level fast but useing the same skills agian and agian without changing(besides rebuffing) choose hermit if you want to have patient and more fun of doing so choose ranger (hermit= sp+L7 (sometimes FJ) or ranger (arrow bomb,arrow rain inferno, stafe) id choose ranger when im bored and i choose hermit when im all fired up so witch is it? fast not that fun or fun but slow?

Of course Ranger.

Strafe vs. Lucky Seven w/ Shadow Partner. SP only has 50 basic attack damage and strafe has 100 basic attack. Plus, sin gets weaker and weaker at higher levels (comparing to others). Also, look at the stars and 'godly' items you have to buy... by then, you only REACH to a normal ranger with no special build of your level.

rangers r cool but the critical hit is low so even if ur lvl 100 u could do 200 dmg but most of the times you'll do 1k+dmg so go with ranger

Strafe shoots four arrows, if you get crits they will probably do all together +8k dmg.

Also the avg 16x dose 10k dmg per arrow, so Hurricane shoots 8.33 arrows a second, that's 80k a SECOND plus crits so it would probably go 90k+ a second some times.

And that is why Bow Master is the best class in the game.

nope nl are wayyy better a avg 16x nl would hit 30k -40k each star if he had rly godly items and sins have the best dps in the whole game he can fire 6 shots per sec so 6 x 40k = 240k dmg per sec AND once your in hurrcane you cant pot and hurricane is only good for bossing but nl's TT is good for bossing and mobing but still bowmasters do have awsome skills at 4th job xD

unlike most hermits this one doesnt jump and throw if u did then u wouldnt be getting hit often and rangers have the advantage cuz if the hernit was attking those pirates from the same area it would take him longer because avenger only goes straight and u would have to go to the bottom and attk which can make u use more pots die wayy faster

rangers ftw! sins are so overplayed its a joke, and they are so dependant on money. rangers don't need a whole lot of money. I have a hermit I personally would rather have a ranger. Both the jobs are fast and strong at the same time. But at lvl 70 you have to have all those summoning rocks and they cost quite alot not saying I can`t afford em! But yeah.. Go ranger! You won`t regret it. It pays off in the end ;]

ALL jobs pay off in the end because no matter the class they all want their 4th advance and they all feel like its godly. The cost of summoning rocks is around 7k now. Not too bad and hey theres a quest to make it so that u can make ur own summoning rocks so no worries. Rangers are good, hermits are good all classes are good... it depends on the player though

The avoid from luk can save u in some tight situations and ud be surprised at how often. I have a lot to say on this because I faced this dilemma when I was deciding a main. I read up on both and watched both ingame. I chose a sin because it takes more skill and knowledge of economics to be able to maintain when u spend around 10-15m every 10 or so lvls. Thats just me I like to have the best so I had 8 sets of tobi pretty early. I used a +7 meba til lvl 50 though. Make ur choice.

Rangers are less expensive but if u have the experience to make money this doesnt matter at all. If a BM wants to be up to par they'll be spending quite a bit nyways. Finally just look around u and make the comparison. Which one do u say ooooh at. Do u wanna fj around and attack fast or stand around and attack fast? Do u want cool looking stars or arrows from the heavens? Either way ur damage wont be very stable thats how range classes r so thats not an option. Make ur choice.

Hermit: 50% crit, l7 built in mastery, luck affects damage in a major way which is why u dont see strless bowmen as often

Ranger:40% crit, dex doesnt affect damage that much, more variety. Conclusion: Just using facts here not bias. Hermits have a higher chance to crit by 10%, ranger can ks in a small map because of the mob attacks(AR is nice) hermits r bttr for larger maps where they can use fj to own the map. Make ur choice.

The difference between hurricane and triple throw is not big. Its very hard to see the delay in TT but its there and is about 1/8 of a second. Just watch a vid of a NL and BM and u wont see much difference in speed. Both classes spam one move and only use the other move to get space. The NL is bttr at getting space for itself. Stars affect damage in a big way so to be logical crystal ilbi will do more damage than soul arrow. BMs get second mastery and 26 wep att PASSIVE. Make ur choice.

Ranger anyday they are the best mob atkers and they hit VERY high and the dont use TONS of money like hermits do and they r by far the fastest in 4th job with hurricane they hit the monster at least 10 times a second and every arrow hits 20k at least so were talkin 200k in one second rangers also pwn at bossing

Both of them hit high, the 20k in hurricane isnt consistent the max hurricane ull see from hurricane nowadays even in KMS is 30k and thats if ur godly. Like I said money isnt an issue since all classes use mesos a lot by 4th. Not 10 times 8 times.

Basted purely on the enjoyment of playing factor: Ranger. I personally found Assassins too boring to bother getting to even the 3rd job. But I'm having no issues with my Hunter, still fun :D. It may not be the case for everyone though (obviously, look at all the hermits there are -_-;)

Since some people say that hermits are fun and some say that Rangers are. Everyone have their own opinions. What's yours? If you really can't choose then play both. But you choice will come soon.

Anyway I'm facing the same problem: I have a 85 lvl hermit and a 72 lvl ranger. But... when I'm bored I play the hermit, and when facing bosses I play the ranger. That's how I roll =)

Umm well i made a sin and a hunter,to tell you the truth, hunters get critical at 1st job leaving space for more important skills at 2nd job, they dont need stars since soul arrow is there,also sins need expensive(cause of the population) equips if you want to be good,and you jump around throwing same stars at all jobs, while rangers get more skills and USEFULL. I quitted my sin cause i knew it was gonna be expensive and boring,and hunters are fun.

From what i've seen, hermits are costly. Since their claws and equips are like top-notch. Basically compare this, a 60 bow atk scroll for around...lets say...750k each whereas a claw 60 scroll cost around 1-2m.

Hermits are really fun at 2nd job,but when u get third job the only fun move you have to show off is fj or SP

Rangers have a variety of moves. For example rangers have strafe, which replaces double shot.

If hermits wanted 4 stars thrown they need to summon SP. Sp cost money

fact that he has lvl90 equip doesnt mean anything. scrolls do the job. we don't know what levels were these two and what gear they had so we can't really speak about dmg. generally speaking bowman's 3rd job (ranger) rocks. at these levels ranger is stronger than a sin (it all gets balanced at 4th job tho).

there is A LOT of sins in game so it's easy to find items but they're expensive - on other hand there's not many bowmen so their stuff is less available but cheap.

Rangers beat hermits.a hermit wouldnt last a minute ath vikings. heres the 3rd classes rankings: 1rst:ranger ,sniper and chief bandit 2nd:dk ,priest ,mages 3rd:white knights,crusaders, 4th:hermit

hermit have only useless skills in 3rd job exept for shadow partner and they still use

l7 for attacking.whiles other classes get cool new skills for mob-attacking.like spear crusher and ice mage skills same with all other classes.
