Way to go, hacker! I've done the same thing before at home, but I didn't think of using an antenna (and hurt the heck out of my fingers pulling out on the top of the door.) I used a coat hanger instead.
By the way, locksmiths call this "wedging" a door.
Going to add to the THANKS! Bought my 01 GC Laredo used a few years ago and only had the one FOB and misplaced or lost my spare door key. Wife locked the door while cleaning and the keys were in the ignition. Your video saved me a lot of money being a Sunday. I had to use a coat hanger though since my window is more sloped, and luckily my lock button is up and down rather than side to side like yours. Funny, dealership said I'd have to break the window, no way possible to unlock the door :)
Thank you, I wish I would of seen this before I drove to my mother in laws to find out that my spare set was in my jeep as well...ha ha...Thank you for posting this

Thank you so much for the video! I work for the post office and locked my keys in, I had to be at work the next day, no time to call a lock out service. We used your wallet idea, but used a really long blow gun instead of an antenna. I get to go to work now, so thanks again!
thanks for the video,, tame like 5 mins, to open my gran cherokee 04, i dint reach the onlock, botton, so i push the window botton, cause my car was on,, thnaks alot you save my day,,,
i used a similar method on my 1990 camaro... that vehicle has a digital style push button as opposed to a physical one so by bending the end of the antenna about 45 degrees i could 'rub' the button with the rounded end and unlock it
I just used that to unlock my son's jeep except I had to invert the antenna so that the edge would lever the door lock. The round end kept slipping off.
I have a '96 JGC, locked myself out this morning. I used your technique except I used the handle of a screwdriver instead of a wallet, and I used a bamboo cane, my antenna was too flimsy. THANKS!
I think it may be faster to push down on the window switch. good going ! have used this on a 74 malibu but used CB to get the keys off the seat!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've used this method for "real" several times. After I posted the vid I thought abuot taking pliers and squeezing small ridges into the tip/ball of the antenna for grip on the door pannel. That should help quite a bit.

@MikaMilanDream You can only open the window if the key is in the "on" position.

Loved this technique! I was about to be stolen by a locksmith! $30 for opening my JGC!!! Mine is a JGC95, so it was quite easier.

The window switch doesn't work unless the key is in the ignition and turned on to "acc".
The lock button's works if the key is in the ignition or not.
