I love these markets! down with all those shopping malls where everything is over priced and over rated. Fish here is cheap fresh and tasty, and the people are friendly, so i like this place, i go there every other week.

Hi there i lived in Xiamen for 1,5 years had a great time there, this is the fish/vegetable maket not to far from gulangyu island, its an old market and has been there for many many years i have been told. in the same street there also is a church thats has been there for many years already ill ask my girlfriend ( a local Xiamenese) what the name of the street is later

I went to Xiamen in the Summer of '07. My favorite place to eat was Muslim noodle near Xia-Da. I hope to some day go back.

Xiamen changes dramatically every 6 months!
I left last summer, came back at X-Mas and already new bridges, buildings, etc.
